Murdoch is no world beater thats for sure but he is still better than Robson. Opposition teams have been targetting Robson for the last 2 seasons. Murdoch is better in the air stronger in the tackle and dosent continually get skinned by wingers. Cant think of a single reason to play Robson before him.

I can he is more of an attacking threat.

This is the team for me.
And still options on the bench to change things later on. Vital game, as they all are now.

I would drop Harry Lewis and Matty Smith. Too many errors creeping into the former's game and not enough of 'anything' happening in the latters. Would like to see Chalmers or Kadded on the bench at the expense of Quinn or Mason (point of either being on the bench?).
My team............
........................Mehmet........
Ralston....Durnan.....Mohsni....Murdoch
McMullan...Stanton...Flood....King..
.............Mikkelsen......McDonald..
Subs - Lewis, Kadded, Edjenguele,
Slater, Robson, Fraser, Smith

Same team other than Scobie in for Durnan. Fraser not on bench.

Up until the day, Dumbarton have only scored 1 phuckin goal at Home since the New Year, and that was against phuckin Brechin. Then they manage to score 3 against us.
Our Directors and the folk running the Club should be phuckin ashamed oe themselves.
Play-affs. They'd be better playin we thereselves.

Telt yis we were shite on Tuesday. Good night , god bless!

Just home, no quite sure where to start with what I witnessed this afternoon tbh.
I have been a fierce critic of Laszlo's for months now and tbh I wanted him gone after the 6-1 thrashing at Falkirk. He has to go, of that there is no doubt as he simply can't get a positive run of results with this side.
I'll say one thing though that was little to do with him today. You simply cannot calculate for the type of errors and perfomances people like Harry Lewis and Thomas Scobbie put in today. Mindblowing stuff.
It wasn't just them to blame though of course. You can't create the amount of chances we did and miss sitter after sitter. Though with 2 goals scored away from home that should have been enough. But, well, it's Dundee United 2018.
Lewis - Listen I like the kid. Lovely big guy by all accounts with a terrific attitude and philosophical outlook for one so young. But by Christ he was awful today and to blame in some part for all 3 goals. Stuck rigid to his line when he should be attempting to collect the cross and then bizarrely sometimes coming right off his line at other times when we had plenty of men back and making a cunt of it. His and Scobbie's lack of communication with one another on a basic level made us look like a junior side at times. 0/10
Ralston - Thought he had a good game today. Got forward well in the 2nd half inparticular. Scored a good header that was all about desire and getting to the ball frst and displayed this same quality when getting in the cross for McDonald's equaliser. Don't think he has the quality to make it at Celtic but he'd do for me at us. 7/10
Mohsni - Head and shoulders above everyone else in the team. Won every header and was displaying the qulaities of a real Captain i.e. bollocking players at times, at other times trying to console them or keep their chin up (see him with Harry Lewis at their 2nd goal) and was constantly pointing and telling his team mates where they should be standing etc. Far too good for Championship level imo. Looked absolutely gutted at full time. A winner 8/10
Scobbie - Unbelievably bad performance. Got caught in a real fankle with Lewis for their opener. Sliced out an easy clearance for a corner for their 2nd and then shelled an easy pass right out the park about 2 minutes later to give them a throw in right up in our half. Think today showed how much we actually miss Durnan when he's not available. 0/10
Murdoch - 'Ok' no more,no less. 5/10
Flood - Completely finished. Games over Willo, forget it mate. Chasing shadows most of the match again. Didn't help right enough that he picked up a daft yellow after about 5 minutes as thereafter he looked scared to put his 'foot in'. had one good shot near the end that whizzed past their Keeper's left hand post. But far to little, far too late. 2/10
Stanton - Was 'ok (ish)' going forward and linking up at times. But his lack of being able to ever win a a tackle alongside the rest of the midfield is a real ongoing problem that sadly he is also part of 5/10
King - Seemed to be the target of a few 'boo boys' round about me and it's partly deserved but in actual fact I thought he was pretty good in the 2nd half. He is frustrating though, deeply frustrating infact. Good cross in for Ralston's goal. 5/10
McDonald - Playing once again in a 'No 10' role and he tried his best. Came into the game massively in the 2nd half and looked like he was trying to will us on to get something from the game but alas to no avail. Took his goal well. Good quick, snap finish to give their keeper no chance. 6/10
Smith - Game completely passed him by. Rightfully subbed after an hour 3/10
McMullan - Started quietly but had a good 2nd half and got a lot of joy down their right-hand side. Nothing he tried (crosses, shooting, one-two's) came off though. Passed up a couple of really good chances also. 5/10
Subs - Mikkelsen - Barely touched the ball. Had enough of seeing him in a Utd shirt now tbqhwy. Just totally flatters to deceive and spends most of his time on the ground. 2/10
Csaba Laszlo - Looked a broken man at the end. He spent a good 2 minutes at the whistle just staying in his dug-out. Don't think he wanted to face walking by our fans. Trudged off on his own and looked disconsolate and like the loneliest man in the World.
That'll be me till next season now I think. Don't think I could even face the Play-off's if we get there as there's only so many boots in the balls you can take off of one football club. maybe I will change my mind over the coming days but right now I would quite happily not think about Dundee United again until next season at the earliest.
That was our 3rd defeat under the Rock in just 18 months. They are a part-time team who players are on about £2-250 a week. They only train twice a week (2 x 2hours) and their Manager Stevie Aitken works 40 hours a week as a Civil Engineer in a factory in East Kilbride. All their players have full-time jobs.
There is something deeply deeply rotten at our club Lads and it doesn't seem to matter how many Manager's, players or coaches we go through. The slide gets worse.
Gutted.

Cheers for those ratings Tek. Noted we only used one subbie, with no other forwards on the bench.
Who actually played up front, centrally?

So we played a wee lad on his own up front when we are meant to be looking for wins. It's quite deflating.

ken this.
I got up just before the match. never looked at any of the updates from the club. only time I seen that a goal was scored for and against was when I was on the in play on the betting sites and when a mate put it in whatsapp.
this defeat hasn't really bothered me like previous others this season.
totally sick of the whole fucking club and totally losing interest.

Your sentiment was evidently shared by many on Tuesday, judging by the attendance.

Noticed something similar myself this year - just not getting as worked up as I used to when we have a shite result
I'd never not want us to win games but a part of me would be relieved if we didn't make the play offs - the sooner this season is consigned to history the better, I just want it over ASAP.

Just watched the highlights.......wow.
Understand now how we managed to ship three goals to Dumbarton, disgraceful defending and effort.
Goals are shockers !
Tek your ratings above should be used to pick the players that need shipped out pronto as look spot on.

Scarpia in same boat.
Better of just finishing outwith them.
A fucking disaster of a season.

Just watched the goals, I think I might have saved them all and I am in my fifties 5ft 10 and about 30 years and 4 stone past peak fitness.. Tek your nil out to 10 looks generous.
What are Zwick and Szronik doing, come back boys all is forgiven.
The post match interview demonstrates he is a gibbering delusional idiot

Just watched the highlights - 2 goals where a single striker is surrounded by 3 defenders and scores!
Shocking stuff. We seemed really slow and clumsy
