DUFC v Dumbarton ~ Tuesday 3rd April (7.45pm)

2 games against Dumbarton coming up (home and away) in the space of 4 days that will define our season.

Lose either of these and there will be carnage (particularly the home game).

Our record against them since we dropped down to the Championship has been embarrassing.

P6 W2 D2 L2 ...........we've basically shared the points against a part-time side with one stand over the space of 9 hours of football.

2 wins and 6 points needed here. No more, no less. Time to remember who we are and what the standards of the club are or fucking should be.

Team?

I doubt there will be carnage mate, just more apathy.

I’m still thinking it’s the Brechin game that will be the final straw.......

In terms of the fans turning (vocally) against the Manager then I think there will be mate.

Agree with that TEK Tuesday defeat or even a draw would be the point of no return for the man who masquerades as our manager.

His point of no return was months ago.

Heavy snow forecast until 5am mate. Plenty time to clear the pitch and undo the water logging.

No snow but absolutely P***in down with rain. Good chance I will swerve it if it stays on which looking at the forecast tonight it will.

So, we win tonight and the manager gets a stay of execution? Where's the sense in that? Does it guarantee a win next game or the game after that? No, it doesn't even promise better performance.

It doesn't make sense in the grand scheme of things , of course.

But you know as well as i do it's the nature of the beast. Football is a results business and wins eleviate a hell of a lot of tension out of a struggling club/support.

Cśaba Laśzlo has to start recording wins for Dundee United starting tonight and has to record many from now till the seasons end.

No more excuses or hard luck stories.

Dare I say it, we’re playing no bad here.

McDonald and Mcmullin in particular.

Slight encouragement at last.

Re: DUFC v Dumbarton ~ Tuesday 3rd April (7.45pm)

I thought we were shaky at the back at
times tonight.
Moshni seems to be making an improvement at both ends!
Thought we lacked up front again.
No leaving anyone up for corners free kkcms again.
Thought we should have had another couple tonight.

I didnt think we played that great tbh. Looked shakey at the back and pretty powder puff up front.
Dont get me wrong happy to see a win but a decent team would have scored a couple against us tonight imo.
