Morton v Dundee United ~ Saturday 31st March (3.00pm)

3rd v 4th.

Huge match.

Our 0-2 win there at the tail-end of last year seems a lifetime ago now.

That result made me think we'd be ok under Laszlo. How wrong was I?!

I have zero expectations of DUFC at the moment and am contemplating betting against us to get some small benefit from this pishy situation.

Re: Morton v Dundee United ~ Saturday 31st March (3.00pm)

I see us keeping Lazlo until the end of the season.
We'll finish 5th.
Lazlo will be released as we activate the "non-promotion clause" in his contract.
Luggy will be kept as an advisor
Ellis will be kep in the management team.
We'll hire Staurt MCall.
ST sells his shares.
We come back stronger and write off the last 3/4 years as a blip in our proud history.

That's the best case scenario to be honest. We can write off promotion this year. I'd be delighted with everything on that list.

You know things are bad when Jim Duffy sounds a lot more plausible than your current Manager.

I reckon even he would get us promoted.

How sad that we've come to be struggling to get out of 2nd tier football. Ladbokes have Morts at 5-4 to win, us to win 9-5.

You couldnae make it up.
And Mohsni involved in some nonsense rushing off at the end, reacting to the crowd & not shaking hands.
Is there a fucking curse on us or something?

Edit to add he was outstanding according to Sportscene.

To be fair to mohsni he was subjected to horrid abuse from a number of Morton fans in hospotality in there main stand and I clearly heard a number of racial shouts so don't blame him at all, at end all he did was give them few gestures at end of game

Re: Morton v Dundee United ~ Saturday 31st March (3.00pm)

Can't believe Utd didn't win this yesterday. Had several chances in the 1st half, should have been at least 2-0 up at half-time. McMullan and Smith both missing a great chance each. Was good to see Moshni get his 1st goal for Utd.

King should have done a lot better on the near post for Morton's equaliser and Lewis' positioning looked suss prior to that corner in, he looked nowhere close to stopping that goal.

Minging that Morton had no shots on target yet still got a point out of this game.

Exactly mate. Mountain out of a molehill.

Good to have a player with a bit of 'fire in the belly' and will to win. If we had a few more we wouldn't be in the mess we are.
