Ach i quite enjoyed it.
Started a wee bit slowly and there was a wee bit of hammy acting in it but once it got going i laughed once or twice.
Not a classic episode by any means, but it was ok.
6/10

New series starts the morn, Thursday March 8th, at 9.30 on BBC One.
The new series will be aired in six parts.

I'm lucky enough (or unlucky if ye like) to have the 1st 6 series in a box set. Hard to believe that Series 1 started in 2002, and Series 6 finished in 2007. There was a gap until 2016 when Series 7 was made.

I hope it's good but I've got a feeling it won't be. The last series bar two episodes felt very contrived and artificial. The new HD format also meant it lost a bit of it's grit and realism.
Two Doors Down which just finished it's latest series on Monday was miles better than the last series of Still Game. The birthday episode in the Wetherspoons was pure Scottish comedy gold.

Two Doors Down. Stick with it for a couple of episodes.

First episode 'Fly Fishing' started slowly but again was 'ok'. Had a few laughs towards the end particulary the *SPOILER ALERT* all-night piss-up scenes in the flat above The Clansman.
Btw did anyone else have the annoying issue of the narrator voice for the visually impaired being talked over the whole episode?

No narrator voice for me Tek. Agree thought is started slowly but had some good laughs nearer the end.

What's this narrator p1sh that abody's been speakin aboot. A m8 oe mine phoned me at dehnertime, and he was goin on aboot it tae. Sayed it was a guy introducing each scene we a kindo commentary like some oe they reality shows, but Eh never heard any oe that. He's in Farfir so he just has the Freeview, nae Virgins p1sh cable.
