Having watched a couple of his interviews tonight.
1) He's far more articulate than Stephen Thompson
2) He's more intelligent than Stephen Thompson
Do I trust him ? Absolutely not. People from a 'banking industry' (particulary those at the top end of the field) are always very business-like, articulate and composed in my experience. He will need to earn that said trust, for me.
Can he win me over? Yes. At the end of the day I just want Dundee United getting back to where they belong.
He is right in a way. His actions WILL prove louder than words. But in the interim openness and transparency is a MUST.
Thursday night (when he meets the various fans groups) will be a very interesting night. I hope it's not a 'secretive' affair though as tbqh i think the entire support deserve to know the answers to the questions that will be posed. The topics we have all discussed on here, Eastfootball, Utd Mad and various social media platforms.

I'd agree generally with that. Although I would like to see a total change in ownership, in the absence of an alternative we are stuck with Mike Martin.
Don't see him becoming Magic Mike, but if he is hanging around, I hope he can bring change and success. Doubt I'll renew my season based on words, though.

To my knowledge, what has not been asked/answered is whether he still plans to persue his partneship with ST and his venture in the US while chairing the club, as for me that would be a worry, and would definitely keep me from renewing my season ticket.
