Currently how do you feel about renewing yours or buying one if dont have one this season?

At the moment im in the undecided category.

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

The only way we will get ST and MM out Is not buying season tickets. Bleed them dry and he will want to sell up.

It’s the only way.

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

40 years going to be broken next season as it stands.

Beside not wishing to show financial support for the shambles which has been created by Thompson and Martin, there's a worry, due to the lack of openness from this pair, that the money spent on season tickets could be lost to the club if it goes into administration.

So although an argument in the past has been that administration would not benefit the major shareholders, two points now cause concern:

1) the sale of Gussie Park moves it into the pocket of one of the folk who have been at the back of the shambles and moves it out of the assets which would be covered by administration and

2) it appears the board is clueless in any case, with no real strategy, so I doubt if they have a plan to keep the club sustainable.

Unless Thompson and Martin can make a greater effort to provide clarity, it's too much a risk personally, and to the club, to give them further cash.

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

I said last year i wasnt renewing but ended up buying one simply because i like my seat and didnt want to lose it. However next year i'll be paying cash at the gate for games i decide to go to. Tbh i prefer going to the away games these days.

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

At this stage, I'm sticking by my guns and I won't be getting a season ticket for next season.  That said, I am not ruling it out, but I want to know that ST has sold all his shares (or at least to the point where he has absolutely no say in the running of the club).  I'd also want to see what MM wants to implement in theory and how he is going about his business.  I'm not sure if I trust this guy with United, but as I said in another thread, I don't know much about him, so he has a chance to prove himself to me, but the window for doing that is not a big one.

Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaah!!

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

I’m undecided, I have my seat in a prime spot and like others am worried about losing it. I also use it to meet with friend I don’t see outwith home games now so I’d be in danger of losing that if they renew. However I’m no happy with the current shitfest the club is in and have still to be won over by Martin.

www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/5528/PRIZE-FREEZE-ON-ALL-OVER-16-SEASON-TICKETS.html

Packacke out now. Same price as last year for over 16's. Glad to see they are dropping u16's prices.

Gate prices also the same unless we go up. Then itll be £25 for a cat A game and £22 for a cat B game (lower tier prices)

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

Reckon it'll be a struggle to move the reduced target of circa 4200 for next season.

Generally fans appear to have been worn down by bad decisions followed by worst. The enthusiasm has gone for many. Previously, I thought buying my season ticket meant I was supporting the club. Nowadays, the early money supports a body which has led us to the present position of abject failure.

And the major shareholder is still in place, as is his last key appointee.

Re: Season tickets 2018/19

Not only has that made my mind up about renewing next season, can't see me wasting my time with the remainder of this season. This campaign is over for me, sickened.
