Saw this poll on Ceres Arabs twitter and wonder how TT opinion compares.

This poll is concerning as fuck
I bet half the folk that voted on it would ‘give him a chance in his new role’ if Harold shipman became their GP
We know his track record and associations, we know that the accounts are due out and the reasons ST has bailed. We also know the season ticket sales are just around the corner but we’re all ready to see if he’ll do thing differently now he’s calling the shots. At the very least it would show he has very little character if the fucking teaboy has managed to push him around into these hairbrain schemes for the past 7 years.

If rumours are true it looks like ST will be away for good in the next few months, I am prepared to give MM the benefit of doubt, as I said on in another thread I know nothing of the man except what I've on forums and Twitter and 90% of that you can take with a fistful of salt, If we start off showing him the pitchforks from the beginning what hope do we have as a club? For all we know he might have the business credentials and contacts as well as being prepared to talk to the fans to turn the club around

No, I don't trust him, and agree with Ex Houston Arab above. And if results on the park determine a chairman's future, it's taken a long time for ST to go. In fact, he hasn't gone, has he?

If we get promoted during his tenure he may survive in the job. If we stay in this division he wont survive.
If only we could get back to the time when the majority of the support didn't even know who the chairman was.

Im more concerned by the state of the league table rather than the state of the P&L account.

Its the state of the former that increaes the anger about the state of the latter

I'd rather be back in the days where we could just concentrate on the football too, But the position we are in, in a football sense (16th presently in Scotland) is a product of the financial disaster brought about by the board, led by ST and MM.

If he has the credentials, they’ve been kept hidden for a long time......

If he has the credentials, they’ve been kept hidden for a long time......

Up until recently he hasn't had a financial interest in the club so ST probably game him about as much say as the lassies who work in the pie shop in the away end.

He’s been in the board for the past 7 years
He also is a joint owner of a company with the departing halfwit
You can often judge a man by the company he keeps

Plus, you know, he’s been on the board for the last 7 years

Yep 7 years he’s been involved. Now anyone who has been involved in something for that long in a senior role can be judged on how those 7 years have been. That’s why I don’t trust him and don’t want him involved. Same goes for Arabtrust and anyone else that’s been on the board for any length of time.

Hard to believe 5% actually trust him. Rekon most of those who voted answer 3 were torn between answer 2 & 3.

Cross between hope and the effect fans think anyone can have from a position lower than the top. He's judged badly for being in ST's ear and culpable for being a part of a severe downfall.

Time to step up and surprise us. Good results won't influence my opinion unless staff changes are influential.

I don't trust him, and I don't mistrust him. I have a lot of skeptical views on him. He has taken on a poisoned chalice, one he may have helped poison! But I am also a realist. Lets keep pressure up on him, let keep asking questions and keep planning as though we need saving.

Do that AND give the man a chance to prove us otherwise is in everyone's interests. If he is in it for the ££ and he does a fergus mcann with us great, if he doesn't and continues to feather his own nest, we will know and be prepared?
