A double club failure with Phoenix clubs coming back for another go, either as two clubs or one would fit dark blue holdings plan.

2 clubs or a combined new club looking for someplace to play football in a rented stadium because they don’t have one of their own......result on their proposed investment.

Chances of me supporting a merged team would be similar to to chances of backing/supporting/funding cancer or ISIS.

Would take 2 or 3 generations to be the success it potentially could be and by that time it would be dead. Dead within a couple of years.

Dundee is a passionate city futba wise and per population well supported but this would passionately kill that.

Already joined the Foundation via 1 bairn membership but if things went merger way I'd be taking that further as it might be the best way to fight for us..

A well fan funded backing is the only guarenteed way to avoid it as other options are pissed on all round with fk all faith.

Can't see a merger due to fan antipathy (both sides) but shared stadium ... now it wouldn't surprise me if that was on the agenda of a couple of boards

Don’t agree on the land value and irrelevant in Dundee’s case as owned by John Bennett, their is value there, we are effectively borrowing on that basis at moment.

Camper down is not Dundee’s business nor master plan. Dark Blue Holdings interest as a speculator is in a return for investment with no heart strings involved.

They will seek to rent their stadium to Dundee and any other interested clubs or events at every opportunity. If that turns out to be a combined club or new club they shall welcome the business.

The stadium is only a bit part of the whole development which with business, food, drink, housing etc will be much more viable. I’m sure that read in press, development has a reliance on the inclusion of a Crematorium which must be a key part to whole investment there. With current facilities in Dundee straining, can see why they see that as a priority and may be favourable to planners.

DBH’s motives are for DBH and investors/financiers who will have no affiliation to DFC ....us....or the unlikely combined club.

Our regime has put us in a very tricky predicament of perhaps soon having no ownership of our stadium and facilities either.....what shall be our plan b then, over to Mike Martin it seems for the next moves.
