Inparticulary the Dundee Press, regards all the shit that is happening behind the scenes at Tannadice.
An absolute disgrace. Should be ashamed to call themselves journalists.
Wrote what they're fucking told to or what they can decipher from Forums/Twitter.
I honestly believe the Dundee press would see the club die before attempting to 'rock the boat' at Tannadice and ask some difficult questions (same goes for Dundee FC btw).

One of the reasons supporters need to get their act together and start protesting in large numbers. It needs to be impossible to ignore.
Last Feb we had to get loans secured against all assets to survive.
This Feb we had to start selling the assets, I can only assume for the same reason, or why would we.
Next Feb, what happens...Tannadice sold? Maybe even sooner given ST sales are likely to be far worse than previous.
We’re in the shit and the only people who care are the supporters, we can’t tely on anyone’s help.

Ive said this before that Duthie told the fed committee at a meeting that they wouldnt rock the boat thru fear of getting banned. They need the clubs to sell papers so no stories = less sales. The ironic thing is if they did actually print what was going on their sales would rocket.

Tannadice was sold last year, it is to be bought back this May for a fee of approx. £1.4 million, I am led to believe that is the reason behind selling Gussie.

There’s a security on Tannadice in regards to a loan from Hugh Duncan. It hasn’t been sold, yet.
The £1m from the Gussie sale will firstly pay 500k back to Cath Thomson for her loan which was secured on Gussie and secondly pay the wages/costs for the rest of the season. There would be none left for paying £1.4m for Tannadice even if it was needed.
It needs someone like the guy Alex Thompson who kicked up a shitstorm about the Old Rangers fiasco. I know it's not as high profile but it's just as important to a lot of people.

Alex Thomson is one of the genuine journalists, they are few and a dying breed. But even he only got seriously involved after the Oldgers collapse.
Most newspaper writers now simply regurgitate what copy they are given, and generally the papers make their money from direct and indirect advertising.
The Dundee press, like the vast majority, produce what they are told to by friends and patrons of the owners.
Newspapers are not the medium we need to target. As has been said, they are commercially driven and are scared to rock the boat. Doesn't even need to be a journalist. Anyone with a decent twitter following could raise awareness of what is going on.
