Currently seems true but it's fitba and fitba fans will hope, support and do things in their ain way mate.
I don't see a good solution happening in a United way to rid us of ST without a plan very different to what's been attempted badly previously and caused a split within the support.
All the accusations of having heads in the sand, ST lovers, clueless etc only hinders the effort.
Even predicting the fuckin obvious projected failure will annoy a good few against getting on board.
Fan groups have to unite and be very good tactically to encourage all fans to achieve the outcome we need and the board to be scared into the reaction we want.

Folk who get annoyed by folk predicting what’s going to happen in a negative way, surely now are starting to see that those predictions haven’t been far from being wrong.

True mate but who the fuck would take a strangers online word against their ain team for direction against the thing they have a life long passion for?
Being right is one thing. Insulting the folk inbetween is another and didn't help. Rallying the fans to the outcome we need has to be better done.

Folk don’t need to take a strangers word, take 5 mins out look at the facts is all they’ve ever needed to do.
Insults maybe haven’t helped, but that has been a 2 way street.
Folk still will make their own mind up and that’s fair enough, but anyone who wants the club to survive should stop giving the current regime any support whatsoever including giving them any cash at all IMO.

See if the protest in the stadium is still frowned upon in a game that still means something (fair enough imo).
Why not do something symbolic and have a march of the supporters enmasse from say the Caird Hall to Tannadice? Or something similiar.
A show of unity.

Imo friday night would be a perfect opportunity to protest inside the ground. Games live on tv giving fans the perfect platform to show tv viewers our thoughts. Could do it at half time when the pundits are talking about the first half on the pitch. That way its not happening during game itself disrupting the team.

Ive been saying it for a year now.
A protest for 1 game then stop wont make a difference it needs to every week.

Really think this is a great move, a well publisised/organised march (agree the caird hall/city sq would be the obvious starting point) notify the police and the press then it doesn't really matter where ST wants to be,there would be no hiding place, doesn't effect the playing staff, with the power of social media i sure friday night would be possible, don't know if the police would require more notification?

A big b@stard banner we"SACK THE BOARD" along the GF or ET would be ideal. Probly no enough time to get it made and arrange funding etc. (from us)

Inside the ground, outside the ground, march, whatever but it needs to be every game and also needs significant numbers.
The silence from the fans groups since the Gussie thing came out is a worry. If any protest is gonna be worthwhile they need to lead it to get the required numbers, are they planning anything?

Never thought oe that Bowers.
Was also thinkin oe needing to get Club's permission to display a banner (any banner for that matter).

'Sack the Board' is a wee bit silly as a phrase: who's going to sack them?
Would it not be easier to go for simple one or two word phrases like' GO' or 'SELL' or LEAVE' or 'MOVE ON', or my personal favourite 'FUCK OFF'?

The best way to really hurt ST is not renewing season tickets, not buying merchandise and not PATY. Instead supporters make pledges to DUSF and join the supporters groups like DUSF, the Fed and Fans United. The only way ST will listen is if he doesnt get money.
Everyone does this and pulls together we can force his hand, waste his time with negotations and at the same time all the supporters groups (except the arabtrust), the foundation and a band of investors all club together and form a consortium.
No money comes in, ST panics and starts to listen. Remember the panic caused when we told ST that if he voted in favour of the zombies nobody would purchase season tickets? Same on a larger scale here. We can get this bastard rat out our club. Once he is out, we then oust MM, Southern and begin enquries on the arabtrust.

IMO fans should be making as muh noise as possible to let the lot of them know our feelings against them every game starting friday.

Or just refuse to go. Empty stadium looks bad on tv, no atmosphere, no noise, nothing, empty seats and silence. Then the fans groups release statements that fans refuse to go, purchase tickets etc until Thompson listens to realistic offers.

Ken there's been some talk/rumour lately about ST getting a couple of offers and refusing them, figures were even quoted on here, but do we, or anybody for that matter conclusively know that any offers were made. What I'm thinking of is that if we try to persuade ST to listen to reasonable offers, we're hedging our bets that somedy is gonna put an offer in.

From what I've heard Jimmy Fyffe wants someone to go in with him and the supporters groups to force Thompson's hands. ST has no business acumen that's why he wants the ridicolous dum he is after.
