Re: Livingston V's DUFC (Friday 23rd Feb 7.35pm)

The  thing is where do we go  from here, cos I really don't think we'll finish in the
top four, it is now very dire. Play like that against Brechin in a couple of weeks time, they may very get their first league win. Sad very sad riches to rags right enough.

This is it. You can pay off so many managers  again and again and let then fans turn on them at so many £hundred thousands per pay off  that would have been better used on the squad to get up.

Probably waisted close to a million on changing managers that could have got us up with a million pounds to spend on the team.

Punting Csaba is only another pay off the same.

Give us back the money taken back or fuck off for £1.

Sit back and accept it or get of our arses and show thompson and martin how pissed off we are.
I can take a bad result but i cannae take thompson and martin shoving around gussie park . Fans put in 65grand to help develop it. Now that pisses me off

This is it for me. I’m just a fan that turns up with my son to watch the football.
That’s all I really want to do.
We are at the point now though if we turn up and say nothing, we are complicit.

I’d be happy to sign any formal letter stating I won’t buy a season ticket for me or the family if either of those 2 paps are at the helm in June.
I’d be on board with tennis ball protests, chanting Thompson out - anything to show he isn’t going to have the free reign he has had.

Like I say though, I just turn up with the boy and a couple of mates.

Have you, bowers or any of the fed boys had any thoughts about protests etc?

Edited to say, I wasn’t on board with fans united protest or any of it last year - I have changed my views over this season about where we are going as a club -

Re: Livingston V's DUFC (Friday 23rd Feb 7.35pm)

Didna get hame till late on. Friday night shite night right enough. Takin the injury time goal oot the equation, did anychunt actually enjoy the gehm.

There was a wee stint fae Lyng and Flood whar we looked like we were trehin, but apart fae that, thought the 1st half was boufin. 1st goal - ba no cleared even tho 9 oe oor ootfield players are in the box. Harry unsighted we ah chunt in front oe him.

2nd half was bit better. Great ba fae Stanton and excellent finish fae Smith. And there was another wee stint whar we had a couple oe attempts. Apart fae that phuck-all. Injury time goal. Scooby and Murdoch FFS - nae attempt to challenge, and Durnans no close enough. Ehm shoutin "Foul the b@stard" while Murdochs invitin the boy roond for drinks.

Shabbas faux-pas. WTF was McMullan daein on the bench. Skippy offered very little. Mibbee Slater on for Flood. Countless inaccuracies in oor passing meant the ba went to a Livi player or went oot. Either weh. Livi got possession. They were'na brilliant. Average I would say, but what does that say aboot us.

Titles defo gone. The way we're goin, Mortons mare chance oe catching us than we have oe catching Livi.

Re: Livingston V's DUFC (Friday 23rd Feb 7.35pm)

What hasn't been said much is that both Livi's offside 'goals' both infact looked very much onside. So hard for anyone to argue that we didn't infact get ehat we deserved...NOTHING!!

Incidentally what the fuck is Harry Lewis doing at that first offside goal?

Re: Livingston V's DUFC (Friday 23rd Feb 7.35pm)

United goal was a brilliant one for those who like the passing/possession/build-from-the-back stuff. There were 9 passes involving Stanton, McDonald, Flood, Scobie, Robson, King, Robson again, King again, Flood again before Stantons killer pass to Smith to shoot home. Much to admire possibly.

This might be true if we could replicate it 5 or 6 times a game but our track record is probably less that once in every 5 or 6 games and given this is our main strategy, it is easy to see why we're failing.

Plus the fact we play an out of form keeper, we play a back 4 that canny defend, we have defensive midfielders who wander off track and don't close down or provide cover,  we have too many players playing hide and seek when the going gets tough and to top it all we actually start with complete duds like Lyng and move McDonlad in midfield where he is less than useless.

Oh and we have a manager that canny manage, a recruitment guy that hasn't signed a decent player yet and a chairman  who simply shouldna be there.

But we can all admire the wonderful goal scored which originated straight from the training ground and if any fans are left in 6 or 7 games time, we might see another of these - maybe not very many points in the interim but glad to see everythings working well as far as United are concerned
