Ross linked with Barnsley
Probably a month too late for us but jack Ross could be off - be good to se St Mirren go back to the form they had before he arrived if he does leave

Said it before, managers need luck, and the turnaround Ross has been involved in at St Mirren isn't all about ability.
Most managers are unsuccessful, and the likelihood of Ross (being lucky and) a success at Barnsley is small, but the financial reward will be huge compared to what he can get in Scotland. He's a bright guy, and you'd think he'd go if offered.
But the sad thing is, we are pinning hopes on something happening at another club, rather than our own club improving our abilities and chances.

There was an approach and initial talks.
He has indicated he would like to remain at St.Mirren.
