Aye, good article, but the average attendance when Wee Jim took over was never 9743. I know where the write got that figure, and it is based on 5 games of that season. It wasn't even half that.
Also, I'm sure this was linked on here before. But thanks again, Tek, (for reminding us of how far we've fallen).

As i say there are one or two minor inaccuracies.
Barca's reserve stadium didn't dwarf ours in terms of attendance (though they were comparable).
Also Tommy Coyne wasn't from Dundee, he's Glaswegian.
That aside it was a good article.
I think the writer hit the nail on the head as to why Alex Ferguson ultimately had a longer and more successful managerial career than McLean despite not being a match for him tactically.
