Was he not ST's pal in the Newcastle Jets affair?

If so, then I'd be worried. He's backed St in his hair brain scheme's hasn't had the balls to stand up to him and has basically been a yes man. Also the fed back that I've heard from supporters group meetings with him is that he can't answer a question with a straight answer.

Would be an odd thing to do as the shares are pretty well worthless without them being a controlling share (and arguably worthless even with)

So assuming he has bought them

a) he's helping out his mate
b) he's an idiot
c) both of the above

Certainly doesn't.

Obviously got wind that the club will be getting bidded for and realised the only way he will be kept on as a Director is if he has a controlling interest in the club.

You have to ask yourself one question....why?

Unless it is as simple as he wants to make a fast buck and make a profit on the shares he's just bought.

Who knows but somethings afoot and it looks like the deck chairs are getting re-positioned on the sinking ship.

Martin and Thompson will do what's right for Martin and Thompson. Of that i have no doubt.
