Re: Bring Him Home

He was, but there’s no doubting his ability when he’s focused. I’d like to think Csaba could bring out the best in him.

He’s also drinking in the last chance saloon now, I don’t think he’s in a position to turn his nose up at the Championship nowadays, can’t see him having many better offers than a return to the one place it worked for him before.

Re: Bring Him Home

If, and it's a huge if, Csaba thinks he can/will do a job for us then I would back his judgment.

Re: Bring Him Home

Nadir Ciftci returning to Dundee United not an option according to the player's agent. Shame - he'd be afforded a hero's welcome. @STVSport

.....and a hell of a good fee for what was tainted goods at that point ......all that money for a player banned for months .....who then did nowt after that....if he ever had a purple patch it was with us and hope to never see him back.

Glad we only have short transfer windows to hear his name quoted twice a year....then forgotten ..........just like him.

Thought he done well for us, but the amount of times he went route one himself when he had plenty of better options was scandalous, and I'd shudder to think of him and McDonald in the same team, they'd end up scrapping with each other most weeks

We all thought Goodie and Dickers would be great moves eh?

Nadir thanks for the memories ,but let's just leave it there.

Just to add a caveat, I will be extremely happy if he did sign and scored a barraload of goals for us, but we've been down this road before.............ex players/heroes coming back and ex players becoming our managers.

Agree with every part of that AC. Hoping we can have a new strker that has his career defining season with us now and when it matters.
