Best spell the laddie has had for us recently. A huge blow to go with fyvie.
We need replacement for fyvie this week for a start and hopefully a striker to start.
Online!
Nightmare for us. Thompson's really gonna have to dig deep in this transfer window, 4 or 5 players required.

Agree, season over. Wouldn't fancy our chances in the playoffs.

FFS Fraser and Fyvie , our two best players, absolute nightmare disaster.
Other lads have to step up to the plate here and we need quality signings , no fannying about.
Speedy recovery to the two lads.

When it rains it ****ing pours does it no?
Gutted fir the laddie and us, he’s been a class above at times over the past 8/9 weeks!
Eh cani help but feel the league is a step too far now, withoot the 2 lads, Fyvies control of gems will be hard ti replace and eh cani see us getting a player wi better ability ti play #10 than Fraser.
1 thing to say is, apparently there’s a contract offer on the table fir Fraser hopefully he’ll want ti sign it now fir piece oh mind aboot his future and concentrate on his recovery, unless his agents huv something ready fir um come the summer.

Maybe this is keatings chance to shine? Proven goalscorer at this level and sure the number 10 position is his???? Fingers crossed - it's getting desperate.

Calm doon folks!
Fraser is good but he’s not irreplaceable.
I think we have a player already of similar mould in Stanton.
Give him a chance in the number 10 role.

Fraser is a better futba player than Stanton imo, Stanton hus a lot of energy runs aboot a lot but he’s no got the same ability or vision that Fraser hus, you’ll no see Stanton pick the ba up and beat a man like Fraser, we need ti go into the market ti replace um as we’ve naybody close to it in oor squad, which hus aready been proven this season when fraser wis crocked before. Oor form started at Dumbarton (his first gem back) Stanton no the answer fir me.

Who’s gonna play centre midfield?

I thought when Fyvie got injured that although it was a blow it wasn't fatal to our title hopes by any means.
Fast forward 8 days and we have also lost Fraser, Flood and Briels to injury.
I wonder if the DUSF would be willing to donate their members funds purely to Csaba for the transfer window.
Because this is a full blown crisis now.

Incidentally sounds like not only was his previous surgery on his foot a 'botched job' but you can bet your money on him being rushed back too early if it's broke again so soon.
A fucking shambles, as per.

I've not seen anyone mentioning this, so please point out if it's 'codswallop' (copyright, b&t) , that I'm writing.
These guys that are injured long term, surely their wages are insured by the club? I can't think things have changed from the situation several/many years ago, in fact I'd have thought in the days of agent power it was more likely that water tight insurance was insisted when players sign contracts.
So, to me, the issue shouldn't be about finding money, it's about finding quality to replace the injured boys, which to a huge extent is the job of the director of football. And if he was doing his job well, these players would have been identified anyway, given the transfer window we are now almost into. As a club, out of contract players (in May 2018) should already be on our radar, so we should be aware of the type and identity of players available.
Off out on the piss now, so everyone, have a good one!
