United V Livingston 23/12/17
All games seem huge these days. Might be tough but really hope we can get the Xmas win to continue the better feel good factor.
Flood to be on the bench. Csaba pushing for players to take on his own thinking all round and Unite fans with team.
I'm sick of hearing bairns and auld wifies immediatly slag every negative after copying who brought them over the bad times. Let's give it some noise the morn and back United and have them copy being loud and behind the effort.

Been out all day (wee fellas birthday), just back in and seen the result.....marvellous.
Looking like a 2- horse race now between us and St.Mirren.

Enjoyed the game. 1st 10 mins it was 50-50. Then we basically took control. Great piece of individual play by McMullan for our 1st. Brilliant run by Robson and cross in was a peach for Skippy to put in the 2nd. I thought Fyvie was in a 50-50 for the ba when he got it below the knee when the Chunt left his studs up.
2nd half a bit more laid back. Think Skippy or McMullan shoulda took the Pen but hay-ho. Had the penalty went in, it would killed the gehm aff there and then, and the crowd woulda been singing Carols fae the top oe the stand, but instead it was more like folk were collectively whispering the "Hope Livi dinna score" dirge and the gehm went inta a kinda lull for 15 mins.
3rd great bit of play in the box. Think King takes a shot, keeper parries it awa, and McMullan wallops it in.
Opinions. Was Smith shoved for another Pen?
Dallas was a total waste of space. He should be giving his wages to the Sally Army Xmas appeal. MOTM for me probly Fraser or McMullan.

Far too often under Ray McKinnon we were dreadful to watch (even when winning).

Fyvie's injury was one of these things. I thought he didn't have to go into the challenge.
Definite penalty with Matty Smith.
The second for us was 'goal of the season' from my position in the ET, aided by alcohol.
Which brings me to.................. why wasn't the Elf let in?

We were very good in spells today, lost our way after the pen miss, but never looked like throwing it away.
Thought all the team did well, not really a weak performance today I can point to.
Down side was Fyvie injury and the pissed pen, which King made so obvious he was going to put it to the keepers right he might have as well pointed to him before he took it.
Onwards and psychologically a win against St Mirren away at this point would be massive.

Scobie, Robson and McMullen had good games, Durnan too. Livy went all oot too stifle Fraser and McDonald, King too.
Csaba seems to be on it tactically. Only negative is thinking we should be scoring more again which is not a bad negative eftur what we've had to deal with.

Aye Cheers Tek. Just got the all clear from the big C. After cameras doon the throat, up the nose, MRI scans, turns oot its nerve damage. No surprising since we've ah been nervous wrecks at some time or other over the last 18 month. Hope that the 2017/18 Season is the Season to be jolly !

We were in full control oh that gem and again could of hud mare goals.
That’s 3 gems in a row that Scott Fraser hus been man marked teams starting to see he’s oor main man.
Good ti see McMullan get a couple, McDonald back on the score sheet tay.

Expected more from thwm too as they have been going well recently. ,Mabaye the wind played a factor with them tactically but i thought they were nothing but Hoofball merchants. Good performance from us though! Last half hour was a bit drab but could have been a lot more.

started slowly but grew into the game and blew them away with 30 mins of the best football I've seen from us this season. Fell away after the penalty miss but we look really solid at the back.
Hopefully Fyvie isn't too badly injured as that lad has presence about him on the park, rock solid in the middle and never pushed about.
That idiot Dallas is his auld mans son no doubt about it, fuckin incompetent clown. Booked Frazer for heehaw and missed a stone Waller.
