Clean sheets

In 50% of our games so far.

Now i know the defence isn't the finished article, far from it.

But that IS a real improvement.

Bear in mind we never kept a clean sheet for 6 months last season.

Sold an International defender for 2 million tae.

So far,so good.

Don't imagine there will be many clean sheets if we win the cup

Re: Clean sheets

Fojut instrumental in this, a real leader.

Could be a find for points like Robbo was a find for pounds.

Re: Clean sheets

Fojut is class. Morris has been solid enough in most of our games. Watson has been doing reasonably well and Dillon has filled in well at left back.

I'm really  missing Robertson though

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Clean sheets

we definetly have to get a decent left footed left back in january as dillon doesnt give us a natural balance on that side and townsend to be blunt is pish

14 games played

7 clean sheets.

Keeping up that 50% ratio.

Every good team is built fae the back.

Took McNamara awhile to address this but we are getting there.

Rado deserved a lot of the credit for this tbh.

He's been immense recently.

Rado's a major part of that with his back 4/6 but think Jackie may have overaddressed the solid foundation part and we're now tweaking back to a happy medium.
In the meantime we're tap o' the league having played little mare than %age fitba', so onwards and upwards.
