Interesting stuff boys, if you dig a bit: there are links between a present director, a past director and a past chairman (of United) at a Dundee company (all presently on the same board, along with an executive of another leading Scottish football team). 

While one of the new officers of DUSF shares a boardroom with one of the directors mentioned above in another Dundee company.

Over the last two months we have been exploring the possibility of setting up a Dundee United Supporters Foundation. We have met with representatives of the Foundation of Hearts to learn from their experiences and have now made contact with all of the United supporters groups and committees.  We have been genuinely encouraged by the very positive response and feedback, and that, coupled with soundings we have taken from other United fans means we are ready to go ahead with the proposal.

We realise supporters will have many questions and they will be answered before the Foundation goes live. There is a great deal of work going on in the background to set this up, including the drafting of a full constitution and designing and constructing a new website. We have set a challenging target to get the Foundation launched in early summer when there will be much more detailed information on the aims and objectives of the Foundation, and on how member's subscriptions will be collected and used.

We believe membership of the Foundation will appeal to all United supporters and with the backing that our fans are renowned for, we hope it will become a significant and influential cornerstone of the future of Dundee United FC

With the struggle wuth members im very surprised at how quirt things are from the foundation in trying to get people to sign up.
