N'Koyi

Not there today but he is given a start against part-timers (again) and i'm hearing from several people was brutal (again).

Time to punt him on loan in January....or just punt full-stop?

We desperately need a big, tough, tall physical striker who can head the ball and hold the ball up.

Csaba's claims that he is happy to recruit from within won't wash in this regard either cos there is no one in the Devs who is good enough either it would seem.

Csaba claims he's happy to recruit from within because he's been told that's all he'll be allowed to do.  Don't hold your breath for that striker coming in anytime soon.

Correct.  Theres nae dosh to bring in anyone. Blame the board if you want but the harsh reality is theres nae away fans in this league and utd need patg punters. We get dumbarton and brechin at hame in a month then basically apart fae a few home patg fans and the poor away support they teams bring then we aint bringing cash in.

I don't blame the board for the lack of PATG punters in this league, I do blame them for us being in this league in the first place.

Anyway regarding bringing in a striker, yes it'd be good, but we should still walk this league even if we don't, this years championship is the worst standard it's ever been.

Re: N'Koyi

There may be little money but surely if we can sell Jamie Robson that would free up enough to get a forward in even on loan?

Re: N'Koyi

He should have scored late on with his head.

Sometimes holds the ball up and links up OK but only hope is a confidence boost can bring him on to a level above what we see.

I'd love us to bring in better.

If only. Who would buy him or take him off oor wage bill? Easy to slate him, i'm huddin back as it doesn't help & just hoping oor desperate predicament can be helped by himself, luck, confidence, Csaba etc as like others say, we have no money.

We're probably stuck with the squad we have. Clutching at straws & hoping for the unlikely.

How much have the Foundation raised so far?

That's a bit strong b&t but I do think there's a player there & I predict better things for him.
He holds the ball up well in tight space, has good upper body strength & loves a flick-on.
See what The Saviour makes of him, a couple of goals will spur him on.

Re: N'Koyi

Starting to really doubt this lad, came on for the last 10 mins yesterday and he looks playing football really difficult for a professional.

He's got a first touch like John Leslie.

Re: N'Koyi

He offers little for us, for a target man he is poor in the air.

Re: N'Koyi

He's not had a chance yet & don't say the Irn Bru cos that was playing with our 2nd XI. He's not bad in the air & is very good at holding the ball up on the deck, he's a strong lad who'll boss defenders.

next time I go for a job I'm putting you down as a character witness, you would make the McCanns sound like great parents.

Re: N'Koyi

nothing wrong with a bit of hope and let's hope he's right, but there is a reason why he had only been played in the irn bru cup.

Was I wrong about Donaldson Tek?
All the boy needed was a chance which he has now got.
Hounded out of Tannadice by the fans.
All because of a mis-kick & a light-hearted attitude when warming up.
Witch finders were more lenient.
Durnan was once a wheelie bin don't forget.
