Haha. Must have been on radio east kilbride
I was at my boys cup match in Glasgow this afternoon.
Am i not allowed to comment on being happy with a good win unless i was there? Is that how it works?
It helps if yer there and lets be honest here you dont get to many games eh?
I remember a few years ago on mad . Utd away to motherwell. On yer doorstep. You said you were skint i said to you i'd pay you in. Iirc it was when we got in for a fiver. You refused which you are entitled to do but thats when i thought wow. Bir weird running a forum and not going to games do you not think?
We have won well today, are now top of the league outright and your concern seems to be how many matches i can attend.Including one's from years ago?
Seems a bit daft/petty.Maybe just me.
Boys on here who know me in real life will vouch for the fact that when i was able to attend regulary i did.
Forgive me if i don't feel like divulging the details of my private life and current circumstances to strangers on the internet however B+T.

Though was a good team performance today, no one left anything out there today.
Went at it properly from start and never let up.
I’m pretty critical of Fraser and Flood usually but credit and respect today to both who played well.
Thought Fyvie was excellent today not bullied in the slightest and getting well ripped in.
Stanton was good too and King was best have seen from him so far.
Hopefully we can build on this, Laslo should be pleased tonight

He was Nemo, seems to get a bit quicker every week.
Thought that was Fyvie's best match too. Every player was good though, shifted the ball quicker and players were looking for each other. Robson did well to feed King constantly. Seems grim to pick out anyone as that was a solid team performance.
Could have been 6 or 7-0. Falkirk were pish right enough. Even the few chances they got were guffed wi some hilarious shooting.
Doesnae matter though when you needed a win and confidence boost.
Delighted with what I saw today all round.
Thought there was an interesting tactical tweak from Csaba from the start with Murdoch pushing very far up and Flood moving into the space left to give an extra body when passing out of defense.
Movement as a whole very good throughout and good patience in keeping possession rather than punting.
Obviously Csaba didn't have to be a genius to work out that we lack a long ball outlet but at least there were signs that some serious work had been done on this in training....maybe on Wednesdays

Fraser & McMullen also seemed a wee bit different in that respect. They were playing it safe with a simple pass when I half expected them to turn, twist and try to beat a player or 2.

That was the best half of football I’ve seen in years, pace tempo and desire! Hopefully we play like that every week

Had a rummage through my memories and beating Killie 5-2 in the Scottish Cup sprung up. A good Arab messaged me there saying last time we played that well was Motherwell away on 9th of November 2013.
Anyone else have a last equal performance thought?

Not there today and only just found out the result - great. Pleasing thing for me without seeing game is that United had 22 goal attempts which, apart from couple of games last season when Wato was playing, is miles better than we've done in the last 3 years or so. My growing disenchantment with United has stemmed from the virtual absence of attacking play under Jackie/Mixu/Ray and hopefully today's stats are a sign of things to come - hopefully too we can improve on 22 attempts.

Couple of goal mouth strumashes that probably didn't register shots tally too. 2 penalty claims for hand ball we didn't get and hitting the bar & post 3 times adds to the feeling we were fairly unlucky to just score 3.
Really don't expect us to play this well every week. Hope so obviously but didn't even 'expect' us to carry the performance into the 2nd half as the improvement seemed too good to be longer lasting than 45 mins.

Not sure about injury. Saw him going up to the Jerry Kerr stand at half time. I think he was dropped. Last week it looked like words were exchanged when he was subbed then Ellis told him to go to the dressing room. He posted congratulations to the team on Twitter tonight. I think he'll see that today and want to be a part of it.

Worth a mention as well that the fans were in good voice today and sang more than the rest of the season combined - granted there was more to shout about.
It definitely felt much more like a proper game of football today!

Got to be the best performance I've seen in 18 months at least. Can't say a bad thing about any player. Getting stuck into challenges and tackles. Hope they didna dae any tests on the players efter the gehm. Looked like they were all on Viagra.
Goals
1 Ball in from left by Robson, think it comes off bairns defender and McDonald about 4 yards out flicks in.
2 Ball in from right by Murdoch, neat turn and finish from Robson. Think there was about 8 Falkirk players in the box at the time.
3 From throw-in on the right, couple of passes between Fraser, McDonald then Stanton puts a great ball thru to Willo who's running down the right, totally unmarked. and he belts it in from about 15 yards
Fyvie, King and Fraser all MOTM for me.
Shoulda been 7-0. 4 times off the woodwork. King, Fyvie, Stanton, and Fraser - I actually thought his effort bounced in the goal. Umpteen nearies. We must've had over 20 attempts and 8 or 9 on target.
Falkirk keeper made 2 or 3 excellent saves. He was their best player. They looked like bairns team right enough.
Chunt Miller. Shoulda been at least Yellow for his arm-lock on Fyvie - right in front of me. Looked to me like he elbowed Scobbie, then Scobbie put the haed on him. Anybody in the ET give a better account than me.
What was that they were singing to Hartley near the end. (Hartley Hartley GTF or something)

Stunned at how good we were, and how poor Falkirk appear to be. While minding that we are playing in the Championship.
And B&T, have you turned into James Sanderson? If you can mind who he was

3rd goal will be up there with goal of the season, absolutely superb! Every player on the park 8+/10 complete joy to watch! Csaba on the sideline is a good laugh to watch also

Best ev seen us in a good 2 or 3 years yesterday.
Special mention fir Willo Flood , brilliant in the first half and effected us him going aff at half time.
Fraser Fyvie was good, still think it times he’s too slow on the bah and against better or busier midfielders he’ll get caught.
Billy King was the best he’s been since he signed, sum effort in the first minutes.
Scott Fraser when he plays well we will win it’s as simple as that, the amount he was involved in fir us just showed how important he is, should of scored tay.
Tam Scobbie hus been quality since his injury, great ti hay um back.
Murdoch/Robson superb, playing like wingers the full gem really impressed.
Welcome Csaba, Long may this continue sir.

The chance Fraser missed when he was right through on the keeper in the second half would have been better, it was some move. Some very bonny football played yesterday. Just shows you what happens when you are positive and take the game to teams in this league.

Wasn't there, good result, sounds like a good performance. Only thing I'd ask is how much was down to us and how much down to Hartley uselessness?
Falkirk were very poor it has to be said! However, I thought we played very well against St Mirren last week and yesterday was a continuation of that! Attitude, hunger, confidence in each other, pressing the ball when not In possession! Was great to see! Long way to go but hopefully we have turned the corner at long last.
