Laszlo

So will today be the day he is officially announced as our new manager or will we see another twist?

Re: Laszlo

They might as well delay an appointment until Monday now as he will have no impact on tomorrows game.

United should invite Csaba, Hughes, McIntyre, Ryan Giggs, Houston etc to the game just to keep the players on their toes.

Re: Laszlo

If he is announced today he shouldnt be in dugout tommorrow.

More than likely announced today on pitch before game tommorrow and start proper monday.. id say anyway

Re: Laszlo

Would not surprise me if Thompson is waiting to see if we win tomorrow and offer Ellis the job if we do.

Re: Laszlo

There are loads of issues, calm down.
There will be feverish goings-on.
When it is announced we'll all be moaning like phuck anyway.
Maybe they're trying to not spoil our weekend.
Focus on an LE 3-pointer, c'mon United!

Shite eh

Sorry but this is actually a good news story for which United ought to be commended. Toilets at football grounds often struggle to be adequate and changing facilities for children or disabled are virtually non existent which means that some young or disabled fans and their parents/carers are unable to come to games. United have actually responded positively to a request from one of their own fans and provided much needed facilities which can be used be supporters of all clubs.

The Group "38 Degrees" has highlighted the lack of such facilities in public places - supermarkets, cinema's, motorway service stations etc and is campaigning for such facilities to enable those who need them to be able to join in the activities others take for granted. With the introduction of these facilities United is a leading organisation. Its not often these days the club get credit for what they are doing but this is definitely worthy of praise.

WELL DONE UNITED !!

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

😂🤣😂🤣💩👍
Nae need to be sorry Annan, my comment was meant to be a tongue in cheek light hearted response to 'what's going on?', I agree totally with your comprehensive post as usual and will use the new facility and appreciate the club's effort equally as i've 2 bairns out of 3 with season tickets needing to use it if I get to bring the youngest. 😉

Re: Laszlo

I’m kinda happy with that.

Out of interest, does anyone remember how Shabba did at Hearts regarding bringing through the development squad  or unearthing any gems? I seem to recall him having a load o Mad Vlad’s recommendations to work with.

Nae idea about him bringing through youth at Hearts but in one of his 1st jobs he discovered players of the calibre of Marcell Jansen, Eugen Polanski and Tobias Levels during his spell as Borussia Mönchengladbach's Youth Head Coach. All these players later won caps for Germany at senior level.

During his time as a Ferencvárosi TC coach, he produced, developed and turned into the international scene players of the calibre of Huszti Szabolcs, Dániel Tőzsér, Dénes Rósa, Gyepes Gabor, Bese Barnabás and Torghelle Sandor.

Nae idea who any of these folk are in the last paragraph BTW, just googled this shit.
