Whole team were excellent today. King was poor in the first half but to be fair, improved in the 2nd.

St. Mirren were poorer than I expected.

Fyvies introduction for Smith got us going in the 2nd half. Moving Stanton wide got him back into the game in the 2nd half too. Yes Fraser got the assist for the 2nd but Fyvie’s composure to find him was superb.

I was right behind both fraser’s and McDonald’s efforts in the 2nd half. Both were blocked with last ditch tackles but were in otherwise. Soooo unlucky.

Shame Eckersley’s swinger flew in with the last kick of the game. He had a good left peg to be fair

delighted with that today.
​honestly cant remember the last time I left tannadice happy with the overall performance from the squad and how it went. fantastic stuff.

​Thought we deserved the win and imo should have had 1 or 2 more. I thought we took that extra touch in front of goal a couple of times unfortunately. Durnan deserved motm for me brilliant from him not just getting the goal but defending was class. what a difference from fraser also. Thought smith was good first half and right sub to make as had faded. 
​king I don't know what it is but I just cant see a player in him. flood had his best game in ages today!

​building up to this game today I was worried about it.. stmirren have been quite good this season so far and we all know how we have been.. Ellis seems to have sorted a few issues over the past 2 games and the players looked today like they wanted to be in tangerine and play for the win put in a lot of effort more than we have seen for god knows how long.
​surely he had told McKinnon his thoughts on how to do things did ray just fuck him off? its my ball kind of thing ?
​who knows but whatever has happened a massive difference is clearly evident.

Willo Flood, it was nice ti see the ald Willo the day, he was magnificent the day pressing everything, great desire fae um the day, the time in the first half when he won the bah 3 or 4 times and Tannadice was on its feet as though we’d scored, great.

Jamie Robson also fir me played really well the day, eh still think he’s probably oor week link that opposition will always look to get at but eh thought the day he stood up brilliantly and made the lad Morgan look poor.

The positivity in the stands the day, speaking ti other fans was brilliant and how it should be. Lang may it continue, P2BAA enjoy yir weekend.

But I wouldn't describe Jamie Robson as 'our weak link', a bit harsh. He's a young fullback at the dawn of his career, is progressing nicely & is going to be good. Dodgy haircut tho

Nonsense, smedDUm: nobody has written Scobbie off. The fans of today, like the fans of yesteryear, want players at their club to do well.

Folk have pointed out his past injury record, which he has also been a victim of this season, only managing three out of our twelve league games.

I'm sure the fans of today hope he can now steer clear of injury for the rest of the season, and indeed his career.
