Laurie Ellis was in charge.

Was similar for Mixu and I think Jackie before him. Not sure why folk need another stick to bash the club with. There's plenty already!

Aye, it all takes time to get an agreement and take employment legislation into account.
Wonder if Raymond thinks he could still have turned it around, in the same way Jackie and Mixu stated after they were relieved of the post. It seems some lack self awareness about their own culpability in the on-going failure.
Now, the board have gone through this process several times, removing and replacing a manager.
Do you think that they have any inkling of their poor judgement and failure to do their jobs properly?

Why are we the only club that seems to take days to announce wtf is actually happening though?
Other teams just announce the sacking that night or the next day and sort out the legal stuff thereafter in private.

Good news is we're going to save between £37.50 & £7,500 depending on what poster you believed on his trip to see Crusaders.

McKinnon's final act is to be sacked at the same pace as his team played football.

would never have happened in wee jims day.
in the 80s he found a light left on at tannadice when all the staff had gone home. He phoned the house of a 16yr old youth player and told him to get back to the ground to put the light off this involved a 10mile bus trip for the player. The youngster involved was too scared to tell wee jim he he was off ill during the day so it wasnt him who left the light on.
