United's performance was like a script fae The Chuckle Brothers.

"To me to you - to you to me- to me to you"

TAK A PHUCKIN SHOT AT GOAL EH!

Eh wodner what the criteria actually has to be in the players' minds before they diceide to have a ping.

So frustrating.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Rado's really been a hero in this tournament so far.

Saving a pen and few good saves v Dundee and 2 pens and several saves last night.

Totally chuffed for him.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

was working in Cumbernauld last night and got in the car at 3-2 utd and had to endure the whole thing on the radio although Biscuits and Chiko Young both said it was a cracker of a game.

I'll hold my hands up i thought Rado was a gonner within a few games this season after a shaky start but well done young man for training hard and has been solid now for a good few games with his handling improving ten fold!!

Connelly was getting bigged up when he was subbied as a real find which is encouraging to hear! Spittal seemed to out on his feet too but well done young man for still being prepared to step up for the Pens.

Onwards now in the league with a semi tucked away

I'm pretty sure Rado had some problems outwith football that must have affected his form according to source. I hope if this was the case his private life has took a turn for the better in line with his current form on the park. Let's hope it lasts

My biggest fear is he's done his cruciates in.

Hopefully it's just badly bruised and he can heal quickly.

Time for Connolly's chance now.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

I have done the cruciate ligaments in my knee before.

Played up for months.

Big part of GMS's game is his pace.

Cruciate damage would be a bad injury for him.

Sorry TEK went right to my scratcher last night.

Stand outs for me were Rado. Great performance and thon pen save was magic. 8/10

Spittal - read elsewhere that folk weren't impressed with him. Thought he did ok. Would have been more attacking if GMS hadn't been crocked 6/10

Townsend - good performance. Was a threat going forward 7/10

Fojut - 6/10 decent enough

Souttar 6/10 I quite liked seeing our centre half prepared to take the ball and look for a pass rather than route one. Was very good in ET

Paton - 6/10

Rankin 6/10

Dow 6/10

Erskine 6/10 would have been higher but was fucked in ET

Connolly 7/10

GMS n/a

Subs

Ciftci 4/10 fuck knows whats up with him. 4 is probably generous
Armstrong not much better
Smith 5/10

Some strange decisions by ref last night. Thought Jackie also made a strange decision making thon double substitution as well.

End of day went through though. Fantastic support as well and a real rollercoaster of a game.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Its also worth remembering that Hibs scored when United were clearly rattled by GMS being down on touchline and the 3rd equaliser was a freak.

Cheers,Hunted.Good summary.

Heard we were denied 2 penalties. What did you make of those appeals?

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Dow's was a fucking bricker. I thought Allan's challenge on GMS was a foul. Little prick definitely left his foot in. Ciftci was booked for slipping.

Ref was shite

Since we're giving knee injuries I'll raise you a ruptured Anteriar Cruciate Ligiment, medial Ligiment torn and a full ACL reconstruction. And yes knee injuries are fooking sore!!
