Players and manager seemed think now that we are playing 4-4-2 everything would be hunky-dory from now on.  They forget you still need to battle and deal with a team who presses you and has obviously done their homework on us.

It's true we are too weak, and have to win battles all over the park, but I have a feeling that even if we had done that, so many players were off form yesterday, none more than the players in wide positions.

Which makes me wonder: we had one unused subbie, why was Matty Smith not given a run, he couldn't have fared any worse than those who were on the park?

Not that it mattered as we were 2 down, but WTF did we take a short corner in the last seconds with N'Koyi out wide? It's this kind of clueless shit that worries me. 

Frightening how poor those goals were.

I don't get it - last time out we play really well against Dunfermline who had been scoring a barrow-load and win handsomely.  Then we turn up on Saturday and put that performance in?

I feel like a broken record here but we should be taking the game to these teams - saying to them "right, we are going to throw the kitchen sink at you here, let's see how you can handle it".

If we want to win this league we can't pussy-foot around playing cagey football ffs, get right onto these teams - we might have a team full pf pretty average players at the minute but they are still a better standard than all of the other teams in this league.

There needs to be a massive difference in performance thats for sure.

Far too many times this season it has been unacceptable.

This is one of my major bugbears. We don't have players who are good enough to use this ploy. What makes it worse is that we don't do anywhere near enough attacking and we shouldn't be wasting good opportunities to do by messing around this way especially so when our defenders have hiked their way up from the back. Don't know how many goals we have actually scored from this ploy in the last 3 or 4 years (maybe 1, maybe less) so all players are doing is advertising that they are brainless as well as lacking in skill. 

If our players are looking for a clue as how to score look at Livvy - get the ball in the box and watch opposing defenders/keeper make a mess of clearing their lines. If you dont put the ball in the box it won't happen
