Re: Next Dundee United Manager

One of the biggest managerial decisions in Utds history I would think.

One man I would trust fully with this situation is Craig Levein. ANYONE else is a gamble imo.

If you don't ask, you don't get.
If you pay peanuts, you get a monkey.

I wish it was Levein mate.

But we both know the chances are slim to none.

Apparently Irvine no longer in the frame " ....for personal reasons, the United gig would have presented many challenges for Irvine. His preference is to take a job where he's better equipped to use the family home in Merseyside as base"

Ray Mckinnon is not the answer imo.

If he wasn't a Utd fan from Dundee we wouldn't even be discussing him tbh.

See next time. Can we get sentimentality right to fuck please?

Re: Next Dundee United Manager

Terry Butcher may be worth considering . He has a record of getting it right and getting it wrong. He knows what works and he knows what fails. He would be affordable and his teams always get the boot in.
I dont think RM will be going anywhere soon

Re: Next Dundee United Manager

Kris Boyd urging Killie fans to play their part in 'the club's revival' following the appointment of Steve Clarke.
There's confidence for you, when did you last hear that on the back of a managerial appointment?
No pressure Stevie boy. Be funny if he turns out to be sh1te!

Re: Next Dundee United Manager

well who will be in the frame?
who do you want?
the thing is the chairman and board are total poison and a lot of managers will be aware of this.

Re: Next Dundee United Manager

We need someone who makes us a nasty team and with experience of this league. Billy Reid Terry Butcher Dick Campbell Ive had enough of us getting bullied every week.  The obsession with possession is not the way to win the 1st division.
