​The 14th game of Round 1 witnessed a close contest eventually won by the ​Eels track "Novocaine For The Soul​" meaning it will now of course progress through to Round 2 as a seed. Joining it in the next Round also (albeit unseeded) will be the track that finished runner-up on this occasion "​November Rain" by Guns 'N' Roses.​The two tracks eliminated at the first hurdle are "Changes" by Tupac Shakur and "The Streets of Philadelphia" by Bruce Springsteen. The latter received no votes.
