Thanks for the numbers Mr Phobia.
The 5th match of Round 1 once again witnessed the top two scoring tracks both register the same amount of votes. The track that reached the winning margin of victory first however (and therefore progressing to Round 2 as the seed) is "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode.Joining them in the next Round also (albeit unseeded) will be the 'runner-up' on this ocassion "Live Forever" by Oasis. The two losing tracks that are eliminated at this juncture are "Cannonball" by The Breeders and "A Design For Life" by The Manic Street Preachers. Both bands failed to register even a single vote between them surprisingly.

Weezer, Buddy Holly, please Tek.
I'm recalling one of the computer systems, it might even have been Microsoft, used to include the Weezer video for Buddy Holly on their machines, to showcase video capabilities: can anyone remember this?

Love all 4 tracks.
They're all so different but all have stood the test of time and still sound fresh.
Incidentally 'Teardrop' is sung by Elizabeth Fraser (Coctea Twins) who is from Grangemouth.
Tempted to vote for 'Stay Monkey' as Kathleen Hanna wrote it in her bedroom (and indeed the entire Julie Ruin album).
But gonna give my vote to
Biggie Smalls - Everyday Struggle
That entire album on reflection is one long suicide note.Hard hitting.A man who was aware he wasn't long for this World one way or the other.
