The final Quarter Final of the tournament witnessed victory registered once again for East Kilbride post-punk rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain.They will now progress through to the final 4 of the competition as a consequence of said victory after defeating (the now eliminated) Biffy Clyro 6-2.

I like The View though.

One of those bands that it's cool to dismiss it would seem.

Think Kyle's a good wee songwriter.

Mary Chain on another level though.

I d say I listen to the view more but going with jamc anyway.  More depth

Don't get the love for the View in here, first album was of it's time and like fish and chips paper, forgot about as soon as it arrived, as for the rest of their stuff, even local radio don't play it, if it wasn't for the teenagers of Dryburgh, Lochee & Menzieshill they wouldn't have been heard of outside Dundee.
