Nofhing to do with football. We are having a new kitchen fitted and have been warned everthing will be pretty stoory while the old one is being ripped out. So, with having COPD, I have decided to GTF out of here for a few days. Thought of a coach trip to Germany, but couldn't face early mornings in the hotel then off out for the whole day. So going instead to visit my lassie, newly moved from Leeds to Montrose. Direct train on the 29th, nice wee 5 hour trip.
Today was our 42nd wedding anniversary. We had a quiet day spent with some family members, Still can't get over it.....42 years!

Went on holiday to Montrose as a kid.Yes you read that correctly, holiday in Montrose (well just about anywhere is an improvement on East Kilbride).
It pished doon all week.
My only other memories of that week are watching Bobby Ewing getting shot (with my Mum) in Dallas and crying 😂
And going to Aberdeen for the day to see Basil Brush in theatre.
P.s. enjoy your break/anniversary Leedsy.

Been to Links Park to see United (once) and Stenhousemuir (several times), but had never been to the town until I took a rail trip (fiver, anywhere in Scotland in a day) a couple of years ago. Interesting place with a wee museum in the town, an air heritage centre just to the north and a big lagoon full of nature.
Plus a few decent pubs, but I know Leedsy won't too interested in these.
I toiled to get Montrose postcards though. Have a great break, Leedsy.
