He's injured just now (i believe?) so wouldn't pass a medical.

Apparently we are releasing him and a move to Killie is close now.

I am not sure about this whole grand plan tbh.

Lewis looks a good young Keeper don't get me wrong but i fear he will (as young players are) be prone to making mistakes through lack of experience.

I hope I'm wrong.

Suppose thats why mehmet was brought in as well. Wee bit older and definitely an improvement in zwick. Lewis is obviously highly rated by his own club.

Looks like Bell doesnt want to be here. If he doesnt then move him on. No point having an unhappy player here. Wonder though if we had got promoted if Bell would have wanted to remain at Tannadice.

So either Utd are refusing to let him go demanding a fee or Bell is refusing to write off his contract to get the move he wants. My guess Killie want him, don't want to pay and he wants a pay off from us to go early from his contract. Might be wrong but it's not uncommon for footballers to want it all.

Can't see any fee being more than what his years salary would be so makes sense to Utd just to let him go given that he isn't going to get used, fact that's not happening is what makes me think Bells being the unreasonable party.

They were hinting at issues on BT at the weekend without actually saying anything specific.

I can't think of any other reason we would punt him including financial reasons because he will be on nowhere near as much as Rado was.

A. He thought he was moving to Killie a good few weeks back, set to sign by the end of the day the papers were reporting, that wouldn't have been leaked by United, our line was "There's been no contact with Killie!" McCulloch was openly speaking about it in the press

B. He has been looking for a move

C. It wasn't us running to the BT Pundits.

D. He has got a perm.

My take is that we pay Bell more than we should be paying as he was a big signing. Killie won't match this, they'll want us to pay the difference.

Ok, but we want a fee for our player, it'll probably work out 99.99% the same as the amount of a year at United minus the first year at Killie, spookily enough.

Killie just want something for nothing and cooled their initial leaked to the press interest until we signed his replacements, knowing we can't have 3 experienced keepers on our books.

Again Killie set to sign Bell by the end of the week appears, oh, in the Sun, the same paper that leaked interest last time, the same paper that is reporting Bell's bemusement.

Hopefully we play hardball and he never has to forget to come for another ball in our box, our kick the ball into our dugout ever again.

I dont really see what the issue is. Utd are leading the way here, soon all clubs will follow suit. It might drum up some interest from south of the border and secure a much needed transfer fee. Who gives a fuck what fans of other clubs are saying.
