Ray is working on bringing in another midfielder. Anyone have an idea of who that can possible be?

Fyvie
Just guessing though.

Dunno mate? Would love it if the Prince came back.

I honestly think our midfield is fine, I'd rather push the boat out for another striker.

Me too mate, would love to sign another striker, McKinnon quoted in the courier that he was working to bring in another midfielder.

I would imagine it would be another winger rather than a centre midfield player

Need both imo but can't see that happening sadly

If anything to go by last season, Hibs showed that pace wins you this league.

Would much rather we go out and buy a big fuck off centre forward.

Infact i would rather we signed a Right back even before a midfielder.

We need another winger, if King and McMullan get injured we're back to square one, missing the width and delivery we've been blessed with this season.
We've four main strikers (Keatings, McDonald, Smith and N'Koyi) and six first team central midfielders (Briels, Stanton, Flood, Fraser, Allardice and Murdoch as cover)
As well as Brad Smith and Logan Chalmers knocking on the door.
It's width where we're short of cover IMO, that and a centre half would be great.
I think both full back positions could be strengthened but not as a priority, we don't concede many goals.

We have also got the young lad who was at Southampton, cannot remember his name, looked like a hipster.

Matty Smith ain't a forward imo.
Infact if anything i see him as more of a wide player who likes to get to the bye-line (albeit I've only seen the boy play 3 times).

Would rather sign a powerful striker as dont feel that N'Koyi is going to score many goals for us.

Matty Smith is a forward, thats his position.
People can question the quality of our strikers but we've got four, three just signed and one promoted from the devs and I can't see us adding any more.
The injuries up front have been really unlucky so far but we only play one up top so will be well covered, in numbers anyway.

My first choice would be the big striker to give options up front. The pretty stuff may have pleased Ray (and others) but it doesn't have a good record of producing goals especially when we are level of behind. Think we also need another defender before looking at the midfield. I see Sibbald's not got a deal at Luton - wonder if thats who Ray is thinking of going after.

Would there not be a fee for Sibbald - would be a good signing but don't think we could or should be forking out on transfer fees

Heard it may be Darian McKinnon from Hamilton we're after.

Meant to be McKinnon with bell going the other way.
A Poundland Scott brown might do ok in the championship - I don't like him much as a player but I think Sunday showed willo is still shite, so their might be some truth in it

Sibbald would cost a Scottish club around quarter of a million - he won't be coming to us. In any case he's not worth anything near that amount.

People used to say Dow was a striker.
He wasn't either.
