Doesn't know what day it is.

Surely the bald one can stump up the fee required to get this boy in now if McKinnon rates him that highly. We've just received, or are in the process of receiving the best part of a million pounds, surely a small part of that can go towards ensuring we get promoted this time around. The boy's only got 2-3 months left on his deal, can't imagine Dundalk would be looking for much more than £20-30k, FFS, Arbroath just spent 8k getting a 30-odd year old Gavin Swankie from Forfar.
This boy looks like he might be the target man we've lacked since Jon Daly left, albeit a bit smaller and a lot quicker. Hopefully we can push the boat out on this one. I'd like to see us return to scouring the Irish market, we've had a lot of success there in the past.

Agree with that JD, maybe plan A was to get him in November, get him in and settled and register on January 1st but Keating being out has changed that surely?
What's the point in taking a punt on someone's else until we can get him for free when £50k max would get him now?
That's assuming he is our number 1 target and not just pish fae the S*n.

Leeds Utd apparently after McMullan now. There goes that then. Agent plays Utd like a fiddle again.

Did we ever have any real interest in the lad?

who knows, might have been tripe from the start. Still keeps us interested during the transfer window.
Can we get our McMullans & our McMillans right please.
Paul McMULLAN - winger, Dundee Utd
David McMILLAN - striker, Dundalk
Just about shat myself thinking Leeds were stealing the Neckless Wizard.

Sorry all, yes it was meant to be McMillan (fat fingers small keys)
Online!
Mcdonald signing, incredibly happy wee that
It's being looked upon as a coup but I think at 33 he is a coo.
I don't know what it is but I just don't like the guy as a person and his best days as a striker are well behind him.
Sorry to shit on the parade

I was like that with Billy Dodds. Thought he was a right cock and was done after falling right out the picture at the Sheep, raging we were selling Winters for him but after his first start as St Johnstone i was sold, he went onto be one of the best bits of business we have ever done.

Hasn't played much as an out and out number 9 for a while but I reckon with the service he'll get from Fraser, King, McMullan he will do ok. Lets get him in the starting 11 for Sunday (is he fit????)
Online!
He'll be fit, every player who are out of contract will keep themselves ticking over, won't have much match sharpness though

McDonald coming is more like Dodds' 2nd spell at Tannadice when he too was 34 & scored 14 goals in 68 games.
His 1st spell at United (from Aberdeen) he was 29 & scored 25 goals in 45 games.

haven't you heard 33's the new 29.

McDonald is a wee arrogant prick. We need more arrogant wee pricks though. So welcome to Tannadice Scotty boy!

Great signing. Been a long time coming, pretty sure we had him on trial and turned him down when Jobby was here.
Get Quinn in, Donaldson out, and a big fuck off targetman and we'll be far too strong for any other team in the division.

Just had a text to say we're after Bjorn Johnsen on loan from Hearts. Fell out with Cathro big style last season.
