Re: Buckie Thistle v DUFC - Wednesday 19th July (8pm)

Cowdenbeath put 4 past them on Saturday so I'm really looking for some goals in this one.

Get a few of the new guys off the mark and breed some confidence going towards the Derby.

Think the manager will use all the players who were on the bench as part of his starting eleven vs Buckie.

Hopefully a clean sheet for the young lad.

Re: Buckie Thistle v DUFC - Wednesday 19th July (8pm)

I think the starting XI will be along the same lines as Saturday.
I'll bet you there's no more than two changes.
Would you want the young goalie to be making his debut at Buckie?
He'd be thinking he'd landed on Mars!

Yes and he better get used to it cause it ain't all sunshine and roses in the championship, he will be fine and hopefully we will wing with a few to spare.

MCKinnon said he was using these as warm up games with a view to be up a running for the start of the season and for that everyone in my mind will get a run out if they are fit

Was speaking to a Buckie loon today & he says the Viccy is an excellent playing surface.
Highland League champions remember, respect.
The BB (Blue Brazil, not Boys Brigade) beat them 4-2 on Saturday & I bet they were disappointed.
They're at the Foxhole on Saturday too.

Announcer having a torrid time with player names.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: Buckie Thistle v DUFC - Wednesday 19th July (8pm)

Really need a striker in el pronto now, Dundalk lad McMillan (if rumours correct) or another is needed fast with derby in 11 days and season close.

ARob cash has to be sliced up to help here if this injury is bad and Liverpool transfer goes through with hunners O' thoosands coming in.

Re: Buckie Thistle v DUFC - Wednesday 19th July (8pm)

People at the game saying it looked a really bad one.

Possibly a broken ankle or foot.

Fucking disastrous.Particulary as N'Koyi has so far looked brutal.

Hopefully that's worst case scenario and Keatings is fine. Bit unfair on Nkoyi to write him off already

I am going by what several others have said about N'Koyi tbf.

Bit concerning he hasn't been able to notch yet against the likes of Montrose,Raith or Buckie.

Re: Buckie Thistle v DUFC - Wednesday 19th July (8pm)

Nkoyi should've scored 1st half but chose to try a fancy dink over the keeper 1v1.
There is some skill there but his positioning and fitness need work.

Maist will be. Not much to judge him on really. Opposition wise looks bad not to score. Fitness supossedly needs built and suspect he needs to adjust to Scottish style.
Hopefully by the time he improves these and learns the thinking within the squad he comes good. Currently nèeds a fkn goal.
