So near end of season had heard bell wanted to leave..
We are set to or have offered the Turkish Londoner a contract..
Just read in the paper at work we could look to bring a more established keeper in as well.
Will this be bell away?
Potentially something else to moan about? Exciting times

I've heard the same rumour - that he's missing the Glasgow scene

He still lives down that neck of the woods. Just travels up here.

Bell, I think, lives down near annanarab. Don't think he'll be missing Glasgow.
He had some howlers and also great moments last season.
I'd welcome a transfer fee.

There must be a few McDonald's on the road up from Annan because he put on about 3 stone during the course of last season.

I thought the same T6, fairly put on the weight as the season progressed.
I spoke to him after a match and he was saying that he commutes every day from Annan, he's from the area, his family are really happy there and wouldn't move while playing in Scotland.
Some shift behind the wheel every day, can't be good for you, and it looks like he's eating on the road a fair bit too.
I thought he started really well but like the majority of the squad he got progressively worse after the New Year.

I like Cammy Bell but seems competition for number 1 slot needs to be more competitive than lately. It's never a bad thing.

Bell linked with Killie
That's a fucking blow if he goes to them imo
Kilmarnock ffs

Cammy Bell is a very dependable pro goalie but I think the fans are going to like Deniz the Meniz.
Wonder if he wears black/red hoops gk jersey.

Not having a go but what's that based on?

Looks alone Tangy! When I saw him at Montrose (& 2nd half v Peterheid) I've never seen a goalie who looks more like a goalie, he's got to be good!
But seriously he has spent most of his career as a back-up goalie. If he's going to be No 1 with us I think he is going to relish it. I could be quite wrong (again) but I've just got a feeling he's going to be a fans' favourite.

He seems uninspiring with what he has played to date this is almost as good as Jackie starting with the other 3 if bell goes and don't replace

Here's the view of a Port Vale fan basing his opinion on more than just what the boy looks like
"Although he's far from the only substandard player in the squad I'm in despair at what a poor keeper he is. I honestly think he's the worst keeper I can remember playing for us and that says something considering the efforts of the likes of Mike Stowell or Chris Martin. It shows how bad this season has been when we lost Alnwick and replaced him with two pub league standard keepers who have cost us loads of goals. Both goals today were woeful from a goalkeeping perspective, the first a cross that a keeper should come for every day of the week and at least punch and the second a schoolboy save that he seemed to cock up by diving out of the way of the ball."
Still feeling confident Smedka?
If we end up going into the season with a Falkirk reserve keeper with 11 first team games under his belt, it'll end in disaster, just as it did the last time we started the season without an established no. 1.

I've glanced thro the Port Vale posts and it must be akin to a Partick fan looking at our posts, sorry, your posts on Blair Spittal and thinking they've signed a midfielder with one leg.

There's an element of humour in there brownandtangerine (see, there I go again).
That's if you know what humour is.
FWIW Courier saying another keeper will definitely be signed if Bell goes.

Well that was a pleasant read.

So if we do sign this boy from Southampton. We'll have two inexpierienced keepers going into the season.
And that worked out so well two years ago...
