I ken this Lars and agree getting the right players in is cruical without panick buying. Problem is luck is a factor in timing, money too and agents playing us a merry dance. Ray has a hard job here probably not helped by those in control of the budget too.

Whether we trust Ray or doubt him what we end up with isn't really within his control whilst in this division with a reduced budget controlled by ST.

He also was quoted in the January window promising a signing to excite the fans.

Think it's fair to say he spouts a fair amount of pish and it's not unreasonable of the fans to be concerned that this could be our squad for the season give or take a player.

We tried like fuck to get GMS in January, but ultimately he just wasn't interested in dropping down a level. Now it looks like he's heading to the sheep.

As the manager of a club like ours ifs and buts are no use.
He should only make these statements when he is certain.
That was my point as to why a lot of supporters have fair justification in thinking he is spouting pish as ultimately, that's what he done in january

Probably why he's talking about "probably needing to add 2 or 3 players".

Think he has heard, been told or read what fans make of his words so maybe playing it safe on hope and promise.

Some of you are keen to be right, some give no fuck about being right, maist just want the best for the team.

Getting his tactics wrong, timing of subs wrong in the opinion of the fans doesn't necessarily mean he's making an arse of building the squad and squad issues are justified by the former.

RMcK would gladly talk about bringing in more and better coverage on all positions but whats publically said is obviously tactful and said in a way to be realistic whilst keeping those above him less hated, those who control the cash.

Not saying give him a break or see him as magic but if you knew the constraints he's under we might not berate him so much.
