Again, due to inabilty to insert fag papers between most options, I'll avoid the cruel and unrepresentative first past the post system and reflect, as best as possible, my ratings for the players.

1. At 9.7/10 (without trying too much) = Payney
2. At 9.4/10 = Billy Thomson
3. At 9.2/10 = Ray McKinnon
4. At 8.5/10 (at his peak) = Kenza

A player that worried me at times,  but can't say big Kenneth didnt have heart and passion,  was also nice to see him at the cup final there with his family as a paying fan

Payney was before my time,wish i had saw him play.Heard he was similiar in style (and stature) to Ryan Gauld.So at least i got to see Payney MKII.

Kenza despite all his flaws at times i really liked.An Arab through and through and was exceptional in the 2010 season,also was immense in the 2008 LC Final.So unlucky not to have picked up atleast one other medal at Utd during his time.

Ray McKinnon i never really took to during his initial spell tbh,but i certainly took notice of him during his second spell.The Tommy McLean side of 96/97 he had some cracking games and only ever scored great goals.I was there at Rugby Park that day when he scored the hat-trick of free kicks.Unbelievable scenes.

And Billy Thomson when i was growing up i just idolised.The only goalie i've ever pretended to be when playing fitba as a kid.Would always play like him wearing trackie bottoms and the tangerine socks pulled up over the trackies.

Hard hard vote.

But childhood memories and sentimentally is winning the day for me...BILLY THOMSON.

mckinnon...all the talent in the world but attitude to annoy the hell out of me.. st obswell likes to remind me of the days i'd big up the not so talented jamie dolan in a midfiled with mckinnin in it, more interested in waving to his missus in the executive boxes

gary kenneth...sorry but in my opinion he was one of the worst cases of got it in his feet but canna play the game in his head that i've ever seen...


for me i'll go payney...great player and in the team when we broke our duck...any arab old enough to remember days growing up when we hadna won a joob joob will be eternally grateful for the likes of graham payne

Thomson, ok I never seen Hamish at his prime, but I'd say our best ever keeper

McKinnon, should have been so much better than he turned out, had some real quality.  Used to see him regular when he was at Raith, really nice bloke, but he'd make a powercut on a January night look bright.
