Re: lukaz zaluska

He cant get involved, as he said any appeal has to go to someone in a higher position and if he makes original decision there is no one else.

Probably just to take him out of the media spotlight as Hunted alluded too.I don't imagine the fact he was out till 12.30pm the night before a game was looked upon to kindly either, even if he wasn't drinking.

Dissappointed in Pates, and dissapointed for him also. His life will become very uncomfortable in Glasgow now.If i was him (and assuming he still has a future at the club) i would be ringing round Estate Agents in Dundee ASAP.

Maybe not Lochee though, we're hardly endearing ourselves to the Old firm fans nowadays are we and the funsters are suggesting we remove the Fair Play sign from our stand lol Celtic fans, Rangers fans and Dundee fans having a pop at our morality haha, I never thought I'd live to see the day.

Makes a bit of a mockery having an 'investigation' then if Thompson can ultimately overule any decision the investigative panel may make.

FWIW i don't think he will and i think both lads are in hot water (Pates particulary so).

Re: lukaz zaluska

I can't see Wlison being sacked, he'll get a fine from the club. Pates, well its 50/50. He still hasn't been charged with anything yet though so its difficult to see how the club could sack him based on heresay and simply being out on the bevvy the night before training.

Too much commotion

Fair point regarding the charge or lack thereof presently.

Might just get Paton off the hook.

Legally in any disciplinary investigation there has to be at least one level of appeal open to the person who may be disciplined. ST can only overturn any decision made if an appeal is made.

That's how I saw it, ST would only be involved if hearing any appeal.

I wouldn't want him sacked either. Would hate to see anyone lose their job but I suppose it depends on the circumstances of the incident. A lot of Celtic fans seem to have the bit between their teeth here and if this attack is anyway linked to 'Glasgow problems' then I could see Paton being sacked tbh.

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: lukaz zaluska

i think if case now goes to a trial wich could take around 3 months to happen paton has to be brought back into squad until outcome of trial as it should be innocent until proven guilty

Utds investigation should be done and dusted pretty sharp.
Speak to Paton and Wilson. Get the story from both players.. Fine then both if have breached club rules and thats that.
Hope to fuck they dont take ages to do it.

Re: lukaz zaluska

While innocent till proven guilty, a hot headed player like Paton may not be able to stand the bait.

Re: lukaz zaluska

Both players fined 2 weeks wages.

If i was Paton i would be considering that a result.

Re: lukaz zaluska

Hopefully this means the whole incident has been blown out of proportion by the media and that this is the end of it, club-side anyway. Wonder if the SPFA representitive was John Rankin?

Re: lukaz zaluska

Pates docked 4 weeks wages. Never heard of that before.
