Craig sibbald

Just been reading an article on him there. The guts of it was he's out of contract but still found enough that falkirk would be due compensation - as such nobody has went near him.

Assuming Andy Robertson gets sold and ray gets a 10th of the fee to play with, would you spend circa £100k on him, would you wait a year until he can move for free or do you not rate him and wouldn't want him signed?

Personally, I'd take him. Good young player who has 250 games under his belt and 1 I am sure could play at a higher level than the championship. Just needs to be told to stop getting terrible haircuts 🤣

Re: Craig sibbald

Given our financial state and the way things have worked out for Toshney, I wouldn't be paying for any player when there should be someone of a similar standard that will be available on a free.

Re: Craig sibbald

Macho, or should I call you Mr man, do you rate him though?

If hypothetically, the Robertson deal happens and ray get a % to work with, what would you do with it?

Re: Craig sibbald

I wouldn't be keen on paying for players: at our level you don't really need to, given the way contracts and agents work.

Sibbald would be a 'no' from me, inconsistent type who lacks confidence.

There's a story behind the haircuts too, the lad suffers from alopecia.

Re: Craig sibbald

PS, if Ray got cash to work with, I'd use it on wages rather than fees.

Re: Craig sibbald

I'd definitely sign him but we've not got the money for fee's. He's the sort of creative type we need though. Surprised to hear Pat say he thinks he lacks confidence though. I thought looked like a cocky wee shite anytime I saw him last season.

Too much commotion

We're all pals here, you can call me Macho!   haha

I honestly don't know enough about the guy to make a call on that.  What I do know is that I would hope to get a better player for £100k than Craig Sibbald.

Fair play macho... top scorer from midfield isn't too bad 😁 maybe good at being a big fish in a little pond...who knows.

Re: Craig sibbald

Playing alongside Willo would have him ripoing his hair oot anyway.

The alopecia won't be an issue.

He was good in Roger Rabbit though.

You might be right, I'm also biased because of who he plays for.
