Is it time for change?

Yes for me.
It defined a special season for the club (96/97) when a wee bit of pride and magic returned to our great club (As did Beautiful Sunday).
But it's so played out now.
This new generation of Arabs need a new story.New heroes, and new iconic songs of our own in praise of Dundee United 2017.
Step forward young un's.

Didn't like these songs 20 years ago, still don't.

Beautiful Sunday is more irrelevant now since we're in the championship and never play on a Sunday anymore.
As TEK says they are from a different era long since passed

We don't have to wipe any club connected tunes out forever but I really feel we need something new that creates a hyped up feeling in the stands and for oor players.
Maybe someone on the inside could quiz the players on this once the squad is more complete.

I agree with the OP, it will probably die off naturally as you'll obviously not be able to stop folk singing it. I guess you could lobby the club to stop playing it but I can still get the crown going when required.
Playing AC/DC - Thunderstruck before a game would be good. I was at a Dallas Cowboys game when they did that and it was amazing. Tannadice is not quite the AT&T arena though.
