Ray's interview on the zone
He has resigned Flood and Murdoch, brought in Scobie, King and Keatings.
Said he is looking at 2 midfielders, a winger (imagine McMullan) and 2 stikers. If Ray pulls off another 5/6 good signings, we're in for a good season.
On a side note, read that the Irn Bru cup prize money has risen to £340,000 for the winner, not nad for a mickey mouse cup.

The positions he's wanting filled and players being linked ah mak sense
2 midfielders- Fyvie Bauben
Winger- McMullan
Strikers- Mikkleson and another maybe?
Them with the likes of King, Keatings & Fraser would be good ti watch!
Excitement starting ti build.

If that were to be plus a pacey striker, think we'll walk this league.

Hope we can get all of these signings in asap as took too long last season.

I think the £340k is the overall pot for the competition.
Not too sure about the boy McMullan, I feel we could do better than Mikkelsen also, hopefully Taylor has unearthed some diamonds down south that we don't know about yet.

McMullan played against us a few times for Dunfermline last season and did nothing. It sounds to me like we are only going for him because he's available which is worrying. That's not scouting that's just reading a list.

Do you think he did nothing? I thought he was pretty good for a 20 year old. Did more than any 'wingers' we saw at Tannadice this season.

Looking at a few Pars websites he improved significantly as the season went on. I'd give the laddie a fair chance if he signed but I don't feel he made any impression against us last season.
