It's not an issue which will affect United presently, the point is about clubs being able to use their surplus staff to play against their rivals, yet limit the team they lend the player out to from using that player against the 'parent club'.

As an example, Celtic may lend Christie to Aberdeen, who keep the player match fit, and who may prevent Celtic's opponents from gaining points............ but Christie can't play against Celtic. Same for Allan at Dens.

A rich club is really misusing their position of strength from my point of view, abusing 'sporting integrity' to an extent. 

 
Completely agree, there should be no loans to clubs in the same league, its pretty obvious to everyone, but it suits the big clubs so not expecting it to change anytime soon.
