Fair point, however if we sell him and bring in another couple of wingers and a couple of strikers that can beat a player, create chances and score goals then we won't have a creative problem. Hibs showed last season, big man/wee man combo up top with pace down the flanks gets you chances and goals in this division. I love when teams play with old fashioned wingers, would rather that than pass sidewards until you see a gap and try to play the killer pass or simply just hoofing it.

He struggled and never looked a premier player against the likes of Dumbarton and Ayr so I doubt teams will be queuing up to pay a fee for him, if he was a free agent he may get a move to a lower level Premier side.

There's nae chance of 400-600k, the financial situation we find oorselves in and the fact the player wants ti move doesni go together well, he only hus a year left if I'm right in thinking so I'd sell now so he doesni go fir a 5hitty dev fee next year.
Was told in January there were 'enquiries' rejected by the club (from England) and Fraser wasn't happy then.

A loss if he leaves as I agree with the above that he has that something special we might need in certain matches. Lets be honest to was top class in a number of games last season but at the same time was bang average in way too many. Strange one. If you said selling Fraser gets us 3 extra players I'd take that every day of the week.
Even if we took 300k for him... if all that goes into the playing budget (haha) then that is a potential 5 or 6 players on 1k a week (which I'd imagine is our limit at the moment) so could be a massive difference for us

Makes no difference, all the money will go to the club anyway and not to Ray.

Just checked the league table. Hibs scored 59 goals, United 50. Falkirk scored 58. Hardly Hibs on fire?

Exactly, but not only that, apart from a few games, we were boring to watch at times. I want to see a winger beat a player and get crosses in. Not only do I want us to win this league, I want to be entertained.

Priority is promotion. If we get entertained then excellent. If not then so be it as long as wee go up.
Id just play development team in challenge cup this season. Dont think we'll have a massive 1st squad so better making sure rested at right times.

Perfect competition for development players. Happily sacrifice all cup competitions this season to focus solely on the league.
