Dunkirk

Is going to be absolutely phenomenal.  Trailer looks incredible.  I've never been this excited for a film.

Re: Dunkirk

Just watched for second time. It is fucking incredible.

If you're going, watch it in IMAX, almost only way to watch it. Seen twice. Once with mate, once with wife.

Take a bow Christopher Nolan.

Re: Dunkirk

Went to see it yesterday, enjoyable enough, now I've see it I wouldn't feel the urge to see it again, not a criticism of the film just you knew how it was going to end before you watch it anyway.

Harry Styles held his own and got a lot more of the dialogue than most of his more esteemed "stars"

I also wondered what GMS had been up to the past year and it turns out he has been or a boat with Mark Rylance and the Scarecrow for Batman Begins.

Re: Dunkirk

Really fancy going to see this as well. I've never seen a film on an IMAX screen though and have absolutely no idea what the difference is??? None in Dundee.

Too much commotion

In most movies normal theater is fine but he shot this one for IMAX 70mm.  Basically means the format fits that massive screen without any stretching so picture quality is amazing.  Best way to enjoy the cinematography, which is stunning.

If you can do it in IMAX, will be an experience. If not, still a great film.

Re: Dunkirk

Certainly not a WW2 classic. As a film about the battle to survive fair enough. There  was not enough detail for me If you went without much knowledge about Dunkirk you will have left none the wiser. For me historical films have a duty to educate
