Dillo Away

All the best skipper.
Not many players these days can boast what he has. Silver kissing and staying at a club long enough to play in a testimonial.

Good luck.

Re: Dillo Away

Wish him all the best, hope he's successful whatever he ends up doing.  Would imagine it'll involve coaching at some point, but wouldn't be surprised to learn he's going to keep playing, possibly back in Ireland.

Re: Dillo Away

Aye all the best to Dillo; he was a steady player for the first 6 or 7 years he was with us; last 2 or 3 are best forgotten.

Re: Dillo Away

Hope he gets another club, genuinely one of the nice guys I've ever met! Hopefully come back to the club in some capacity one day

Re: Dillo Away

Absolute gent every time I've seen him. No doubt he loves the club and this is hurting him. Wish him all the best and although the past three years have not been his finest he is still part of a cup winning side. Thanks for the good times Sean.

Re: Dillo Away

Aye, a good guy who I hope finds valuable employment somewhere. Wasn't his fault he was offered a fine two year deal by Jackie.

Re: Dillo Away

For me, it's the right thing for the club. I reckon he will get fixed up with a localish  team and we will be able to give him a great reception.

All the best Dillon - a nicer guy you won't meet

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: Dillo Away

If footballers were based on personality then Dillon would be world class.

Two year deal he was given was based on sentiment rather than ability, a luxury a club like United can no longer afford.

Wish him well for the future
