I wonder if Christian Dailly's appointment will be to fill one of the six full time positions required behind the scenes to ensure United get into the 'elite' group for youth development, with the status and cash input that brings.

We've already appointed a 'Head of Recruitment' in Darren Taylor, that leaves five other 'Heads' needed. 

I'm going to guess Christian will be 'Head of Football Science and Medicine', so we will still be seeking Heads of (3)Academy, (4)Youth, (5)Children's Programmes, and (6)Performance Analysis. Most of these will surely be internal appointments.

He was coaching athletes down south.  Sprinters I think.  Might be something in this.  Fitness coach?

If he's part time and free, that rules him out of being part of our qualifying bid for the dreadful 'Project Brave'.

But it is good of him to offer his services in this way.
