And she is a very worthy finalist.

But the winner is Scarlett Johansson



 

Charlize Theron: much better actress. That's what this is about, is it not? 

I've enjoyed all Theron's films, The Devil's Advocate and Mighty Joe Young onwards, while the only Scarlett Johansson film I've liked was Girl with a Pearl Necklace, and I'm not even sure that was Scarlett Johansson.
 

Lost in Translation is another good Johansson film, it also has the added bonus of co-starring Bill Murray.

I recommend Under the Skin featuring Johansson. She drives around Glasgow picking up guys off the street (actual members of the public) then proceeds to get totally starkers and kills them.

That film was strangely brilliant.With the emphasis very much on strange.

The bit she is driving a van through supporters outside Celtic Park before a match is utterly surreal.

Scarlett likes her music too though (and she likes decent music to boot).

Fancies herself as a wee bit of a singer too.
