Re: Falkirk tickets

I still think that's a bit too much.

Tenner for adults...fiver for kids.

Asking for fans to pay for potentially 6 games (7 if you include Morton away last Saturday) in just 3 weeks is asking a lot of people.

Particularly as the next few ties are on ALBA as well.

Re: Falkirk tickets

Re: Falkirk tickets

Championship football should never be more than £15 and £5.  U can possibly just about justify £20 in the top league but certainly not anymore than that.  It's a lot to ask when there's so many games in a short space of time, a lot of folk get season tickets to avoid exactly this type of thing.

Think quite a few saving their pennies for next week and (hopefully) the week after.

As i say it's a big expense for some.

Re: Falkirk tickets

the price of football is an issue however its hard to complain about the prices for the end of season play offs when its cheaper than the league games.

Still not overly confident tbh mate.

If we can win well though on Tuesday and avoid Motherwell (who i still think are the best side on their day out of the bottom 6 lot) then maybe.

We need to get lucky with injuries and suspensions though (i.e. get none) and hit top form to do so.

Fingers crossed.

Love yer style of optimism Shedboy. I'm telling myself not to expect anything bud, but I'm  secretly hopeful.

Tonight's crowd was 2000 down I reckon as a result of the way fans feel the club is being run. We had less home fans than at the start of the season when games were more trivial.

I really hope some of them bite the bullet and come back for the last games as we need all the support and intimidation we can get.

Not attending the playoffs won't oust ST. We don't even take all that much of the proceeds and sure our rivals, those who hate us and the opposition fans love it. Live on the telly too for all to gloat.

Can we not just give the team the largest support and if it doesn't work out those who didn't want to come to affect ST can have a good go at him if it doesn't work out?

£15 & £8 isnae that much either way.

ALBA are definitely showing one of the two legged ties.Maybe it's just The Play-Off Final/s.I thought it was both the Semi and Final they advertised after the Dumbarton game they broadcast.

But maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

Re: Falkirk tickets

I think prices are ok.

£12/£6 last night good for first round  would have been brilliant to keep them at that price for tuesday as the games are quick.

Hopefully we can get a very good support tuesday at tannadice.
Falkirk have been limited to 1500 tickets for tuesday.
They have also sold over 4k for next friday.

Re: Falkirk tickets

Surely to Christ folk will turn out in numbers on Tuesday? The turn out was piss poor last night. Embarrassing actually, as it was in the Challenge Cup Final.

There was a lot of moaning online about a cash gate last night yet when I got to the ET at about 7:35pm there was a massive queue at the ticket gates and no-one at the cash gate. In fact the stewards ended up diverting people with tickets towards the cash gate. Where were all these people who said they would only go if there was a cash gate? A lot of people looking for excuses not to go I'd say. As said earlier, people need to bite the bullet. I think the prices are decent btw. The last time it was £15 to get into a match was about 20 years ago ffs.

They didn't announce it that's the problem.  How the fuck were folk meant to know there was a cash gate.

So thousands of folk should phone and ask instead of the club making one announcement to thousands of folk, you after a job at Tannadice with brilliant ideas like that?

It's no wonder the clubs losing money when they can't even communicate properly with folk who want to spend it with them.

Re: Falkirk tickets

To be fair, I told folk on here days ago that there would be cash gates.......

And there will be cash gates on Tuesday too.

To be fair Pat, you don't work for DUFC so you're word on the matter isn't gospel.  The club should have made it public, no one can surely argue with that.
