Re: Play offs

Hardly fair notice either, I'm out of town on Sunday so not going to get down to make sure of my seat early, right p'eed off.

Son gets his shifts week to week so only finds out day or two before if he's able to go......might lose out altogether if there's really a stampede to buy up all the tickets !

United....we really are a shambles, maybe FU can show them how to arrange a good day out in a brewery!

All ticket's daft, the current arrangements are bad enough but they risk losing the money they normally take in at the kiosk at G Fox and ticket office for the punters who roll up on the day.

Just as well the clubs rolling in money and not needing the dosh

Re: Play offs

Safety reasons - ie getting the correct number of stands open/the correct number if stewards. I might start a riot if they don't have enough pies! They not do the ticket from the clubshop prior to ko?

Edit to add - the league have also told United every bloody thing they can do - maybe they have insisted on it? United don't make much, do they with a lot of the profits going to the league??

Re: Play offs

Still a kick in the nuts when you usually get 100%

I'd not rule out the league having a hand in it - especially as they have set minimum pricing.

Who knows though

The away leg at Morton is cash turnstiles (if we play them). It's nothing to do with the league.

Might not get the best seat though as season ticket holders can get upto 10 tickets per season ticket. Nae harm in allowing a season ticket holder a day to reserve their own seat surely.

they could possibly have given the season ticket holders a day to buy their own seat  although i still feel its unlikely that season ticket holders will be buying 10 tickets for this match. If i have to move my regular seat so be it

East and dode upper and lowers be ample for this for home fans. Its commom sense really. Ill have my ticket im advance so doesnt put me up nor down but i think its daft! Morton is pay at the gate so its a choice from utd.

Pish, they could have still sold tickets so folk could get them if they wanted without it being all ticket.  All it does is make life more difficult for folk to get there, particularly if they don't know for certain they can go till late on in the week.

I dont think it is pish as you put it. If half the crowd have seat numbers and half dont prepare for chaos . Your sitting in my seat pal ect
its a non starter

Re: Play offs

"Please note season ticket seats cannot be guaranteed for play-off fixtures as the Club wants season ticket holders buying more than their own ticket to be able to sit beside friends and family for this game."

Eh well I've been sitting beside my freends and femily for 17 years, but I might no be able to because of this.

Do what they do every game in the ET lower and hand allocated seat tickets to folk paying at the gate, no problem.  It's not difficult, they already do it so how can it be a non-starter?

Morton on Tuesday & Friday it is then. 3rd in the 2nd tier and deservedly so, pish.

Re: Play offs

Think we'll get passed Morton over the two games, another draw on Tuesday and an extra time win on Friday. Then we'll lose to Falkirk after drawing at Tannadice we'll lose 2-0 there. Mystic Meg has spoken 😂😂

Don't know Bowers. We are truly awful but saw Falkirk not so long ago and they're shite.  Reckon we'll get to that final game but no danger we are winning that over two legs.

Re: Play offs

I've nae confidence.

We might Just scrape past Morton but we've been ti Falkirk twice this season and lost 6-1 over those 2 gems and only just beat them at tannadice first time they came, they seen to ken how to play against us, no that that's very hard at the minute, without Fraser they only need to stop Andreu and we're pooped. Really hope I'm wrong but cana see it.

Re: Play offs

Not confident, like maist realistic. We definitely don't seem to have a support that expects like some or feel we have a right to be anywhere we're not.

It's going to be close, tough and probably no great to watch. On top of that we will need some luck.

All we can do is do what we can to charge up the atmosphere, make a racket and give the opposition some intimidation and make Tannadice a place they don't want to be.

Nae cunt is going to help us other than ourselves. Officials have been bad for us up till now too.

Hope the display squad are planning to get something on the go.

2,4 or 6 games to get right fkn up for so let's plan to be behind the team as loud and visual as we can & make the opposition nervous as we fkn can.

Nope most of our squad have chucked it and are not going back until change happens.

Some season ticket holders of 30 years.

I can understand their feelings and reasons and respect that. Still want the team supported to the best possible effect at the most crucial time.

All the efforts by those who instigated the idea, fund raising, designs, sorting/sourcing  artists, large factories  to create the huge efforts etc. Is all this knocked on the head due to the stance of those who have chucked it rightly or wrongly?

It might make no difference. It might make a difference.

I did suspect the flags were sitting idle in the area under the stairs between the East Stand Lower & Upper due to internal politics but surely the games coming are the time to resurrect the original effort.

I can't help for sure as short notice hols like some others have said make attending hard to confirm but mind mair than are boycotting the club chipped in for the idea and funded this.

Would you be open to others making good of what we have and helping create something special again bud?

Seems a waste and a bad time not to try whatever we can do to support the team and crank things up.

I helped fund all and lay out the 1st one v dees when we won 3-0 and JR scored the rocket goal. Loved the effort on New Years v sheep, Septic at Hampden, v St J at Porkheed without victories but you can only try.
Hibs hame this season was the best yet with the huge flag.
Is this the right time to stop?

They have not stopped forever. For the time being they have.
Over the past few years we have struggled to get helpers from outwith our group for doing them. Unless its been for a big set up like the celtic final, stjs final, sheep game.. However on a basic match day we struggle and some dont take 3/4 mins to wave there flag in the east stand. Fans have always came together to help us fund these and there is still a good bit of money left also to fund things in the future. Along with material paint handflags even card.
If anyone wanted to give a helping hand they are more than welcome to.
We have not done one since the hiva game in december which imo was a cracker. The big banner worked brilliantly. Its something i would love to do again.
I suppose i have got lazy with it myself due to working back home as i done the majority of the research planning etc when i was offshore and had time at night.
The feeling amongst our support is not good the players have not been good and alot of people are not happy with the manager either a reason things stopped with us.
Like i say if people want to help they can. Even ideas still fire them across.
